Team Group Dark Pro "8 Pack Edition" 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black

I haven't done much yet with the pc but my initial reaction to this ram is WOW!

Instantly worked and booted at DOCP settings. After nearly a year of faffing around with unstable memory this is amazing.

This ram is exactly exact you want when buying Ryzen.

Hmmm

In 30 mins of game play BF1 has crashed on me twice with BF has stopped working messages.

:(

Assassin's Creed Origins is freezing too.

Thus is at the stock DOCP settings.

Games are freezing but windows is fine.

In my experience to get 2 x 8GB (16GB)working at 3333c14 or 3466c15 I had soc 1.135v and dram at 1.4v , with 1.2 vcore. This can vary by CPU and my overclock as now was 3.7Ghz for all cores needing less vcore than 3.8Ghz.

To get 4 x 8GB (32GB) stable at 3266c14 same again but upped Vcore from 1.2 to 1.25v, you may find you need a slight increase in vcore.

This was all stable in BF1 and any benchmark test I tried. Initially the 32GB would crash with BF1 stop working error within an hour or less. I aim to be very stable with lower temps and voltage rather than pushing for a little extra speed.

Have you done any memory stress testing at all?

Anyone using the 8pack 3200 ram on an Asus x470 prime ? Docp mode at 1.35 and 1.41 not working so far.

Default timings and speed set to 2666 gets me to windows so far

Need some explain please.
Yesterday have received my mobo back from RMA ax370gaming5 its same board just repaired and even

Right I'm back.

Update on my ram*

I have it stable now. No amount of voltage through the ram or on the soc was making a difference.

I even made got it to pass 400% in HCI a@ 3200MHz but within 20mins of gaming it would freeze.

Someone on a different forum told me to try LLC 3 on the cpu and LLC 1 on the soc. I left everything on defaults just applied the DOCP.

A BOOM it works!

Haven't got a scooby do what to do now though if I want to go higher on the ram.

I think it will. I can easily boot at 3466MHz just don't know how to stabilise it.

But also from a purely gaming perspective is it worth the hassle?

Oops!

Still having problems with this ram.

The LLC on the CPU and SOC help, but one day I am stable for 3-4hrs next two freezes in 1hr.

I can pass HCI 400% and still freeze without LLC.

I've now run the Ryzen dram calculator and added the little details such as procODT etc to see if it will help.

I also tried the ram at 1.4v and the soc at 1.15v and it's still unstable.

Also although I have had some joy stabilising the ram where it is fne for hours of gaming, it can suddenly reboot on me.

Which it did when I paused a game.

Everything else is at stock. Only overclocking the ram.
