Team Group Dark Pro "8 Pack Edition" 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black

What CPU do you both have? I'm going to be starting my overclocking on my team group xtreem 8pack 32gb today. Not looked at my If so I believe it'll be half of 3600mhz as I've axmp with the set and I'm already more than happy. Just want to start overclocking for some fun really. My CPU is the Ryzen 5 3600 standard cooler so won't be overclocking that yet as it's little gain really it's more than enough for what I want. But I am keen as hell to tighten my ram even happy with 3600 with cl14. Dram calculator says I can but my system says no lol

I have the 3600 my bro has the 3700x. I have run both 3600/cl14 and 3800/cl16 and they are about the same performance wise, the main difference is that for 3600/14 i needed a lot more dram voltage hence why i stuck with 3800/16.

Until I have a play about with timings and know I won't know this, but I do know there's probably not a massive gain for me to do. Not difficult just take time to tweak right, testing etc. I'm starting to feel happy with xmp 3600cl16 but I will try to see what they've got. Just need to learn a bit more about Infinity fabric. Dunno but I'll have a play and boastfully probably post on the forums somewhere lol.

I've got a 3900x on an X570 MB. I'm just surprised that the performance seems to be slightly worse than on other memory with worse timings. I was expecting a small speed increase.

The Corsair Vengeance LPX memory I had was using Micron, not Samsung B die and wouldn't post when the timings were tightened, so I'm hoping this RAM will at least allow some performance increase after a bit of tweaking.

Any Advice on running 4 x 8GB (32GB) 3200Mhz versions of these at 3600 or 3733. I have tried safe & fast preset's via dram calculator but they aren't stable. Will we be getting a new version of that software ? Any Help Appreciated. this is on a 3700x & MSI B450 Mortar?

Any simple guides on overclocking this RAM.

I have 3600 c16 set.

on my list I have DRAM calculator (I presume I disable the XMP profile and plug in the values manually?)
Inifinity fabric tweaking..

Is there a nice tutorial that is clear and not full of numbers like GN.

This guide was out before ryzen 3000 but still goes over everything and not to technical.

Running this RAM at 3800mhz & 1900 IF with my 3700x.

Timings are 16-16-16-16-32 at 1.42v

Latency in DRAM calculator membench is 63-64ns

Absolutely rock solid, to my surprise. 15 hours of memtest64 with 0 errors.

From what I understand it's largely dependent on whether your particular Ryzen CPU can run 1900mhz IF stable.

These are the settings I'm using (all the 'recommended' values);

And my latencies with those settings;

Hope it helps

Running 3600 at cl16 (8pack stick at rated speed and timings) and the 1usmum test takes 180s to complete. Seems quite slow? And the settings are not really different to default.

I've set my inifinity fabric to 1900 and ram to 3800 and a quick test shaved 7 seconds off the 1usmum test.
