Team Group Dark Pro "8 Pack Edition" 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black

I would have expected you to be able to use the Fast option tbh.
I know your doing baby steps but do at least try it.
The correct CAD bus and Termination block settings can be very important for stability and I think a lot of people don't even bother changing them.
Then wonder why they have problems.
Do you have gear down enabled?
I have it enabled to allow my 32Gb to run at 14.14.14
My Taichi X570 is of course T topology which is better for 4 Dimms.

I'm fine on two. Could never get cl14 at 3600 on just the two mind. But tightened secondaries well.

I think it's just finished, not peaked round the corner, 4 runs excluding hammer of the full 4 banks.

So that is good news.

I'll save the profile tonight in the bios and make sure some basic stuff works for a few mins then test more tomorrow.

What does gear down do? It is down, just thought it helped for odd timings. Although the engineer in me regrets my ignorance.

4 test runs done (excluding hammer). I've run a few cinebench and browsed a bit, saved the profile and now shutdown. What a day. Thankfully it's just running in the background, but annoying all the same.

Hopefully will have some stability tomorrow.

Key is removal of faulty ram kit from the equation. So that simplifies my options.

My ignorance to the whole 4 dimm stick challenge is disappointing, had I known I would have bought 2*16 from the outset.

A lot of it seems to be luck of the draw with the CPU IMC and/or the motherboard. The very same DDR4 kit that would only run at 2400-2666Mhz on a 1700X has been faultless at 3200 with both a 8700K and 3700X for me. In the case of the latter that included an upgrade to 4 sticks and I was prepared for hassle, but amazingly after installing and setting XMP it's been rock solid.

Hi there

Over a year in development and designed by myself and 8 Pack for maximum performance with ultra-clean looks, so no RGB here I am afraid, just absolute top-level performance.

Continuing our goals to provide the absolute best performance and most efficient memory and specially binned by TeamGroup in Taiwan to meet our strict timings.

All 8 Pack kits feature screened Samsung B-Die and are continuously tested in current and upcoming platforms, so rest assured these kits are not only perfect for the latest Ryzen platforms but are also tested in the soon to be released Intel Comet Lake platform too.

So say hello to our new "8 Pack RIPPED" Edition 3600MHz CAS14 kit, yes CAS14 and the long-awaited dual channel 32GB 3200MHz and 3600MHz kits.

The PRE-ORDER prices are an absolute bargain, particular those 32GB kits, remember this is SCREENED Samsung B-Die with aggressive CAS Timings and were confident we cannot be beaten on price for the specification and quality on offer. :)

Ok. So I'm stable with custom timings 4x8GB (basically XMP with some minor tweaks tRFC etc). Took some effort, but I'm there. Will enjoy my build for a month or two and then head on for some further tightening. I think I could get CL14 from these sticks with abit of time and effort.

Currently running 2 sticks at 3600 MT cl 14-15-14-28-42 on 1.5v , considering ordering second pair , what sort of timings, speed should I expect (on ryzen 3000 platform) ?

running the ripped cl14 3600mhz kits (x2) on my 3900x and simple plug and play 14-15-15-15-35 on 1.45v altered a few sub timings and away it went :)

Any way you can export your timings and post them on here? Even if its a couple of poor photos? Also what are your SOC, VDDP, CCD and IOD voltages?

i just plugged them in and set docp and away the kit went, my settings at first boot were 14-15-15-15-35, 1T cmd @ 1.45v my SOC voltage is 1.05v and vddp, ccd and iod voltages are all auto.

with help i changed 2 sub timings which were Trc and Trfc, before they were set at (Trc 80) and (Trfc 640) at default and afterwards they were set to (Trc 50) and (Trfc 320), regarding voltages apart from SOC being set at 1.05v everything else is on auto.

I'll quickly restart to just see what they are to be sure, back in a tick :)

EDIT: confirm my vddp, ccd and iod voltgaes are all set to auto, Soc is set to 1.05v

Thanks, that gives me something to work from. I have a similar b-die 4x8gb kit.. but having no luck with Ryzen DRAM calculator. My XMP is 3200 14-14-14-34 1.35v.. which works great.. and I can change the primary to 3600 16-18-18-38 1.35v without touching secondary and this also works great.. but I am sure I can improve these with some tweeking.

It's quite easy to tune up these sticks.

Use the fast primary and secondary timings from the dram calc. Set only the dram voltage and don't change anything else. Everything else auto. When I say don't I mean you do not need to change the VDDG or VDDP voltages or fiddle with procodt or RTTnom etc etc... only the primary and secondary timings.

Set your ram frequency and FCLK. (I am assuming the FCLK you choose is stable in the first place)

Run the memtest part of the dram calc 400% single for around 80% of ram. I do about 11Gb of 16Gb. Takes around 2hrs ish.

If you get any errors add 0.01v of voltage. Repeat this until no more errors and you pass 400% in this memtest.

You may or may not be stable at this point. I find different games push the system differently. At 1.45v I was good for many hours in Doom Eternal. Fire up BFV and I was freezing. Eventually my voltage is now 1.47v and the crashing in BFV has gone and Doom Eternal still plays just as well as before.

I was reading a review for the G.Skill Neo B-Die 3600C16 and apparently they got 13-12-12-12 at 1.45v! Review is on overclockers.com: G.SKILL Trident Z Neo For AMD X570

Anyone got anything close to that with these teamgroup sticks? Also apparently Zen 3 is pushing the FCLK to 2,000 so 4,000 Mhz or atleast 3,800 Mhz should be used. I don't know of any good 3,800 or 4,000 XMP kits so I think I'm just gonna buy that Viper Steel 4,400C19 and DRAM Calculator it down.

Can you link to the review.

Found it.

Alright after this thread inspired me I had a go overclocking my 8Pack Xtreem Edition 32GB (4x8GB) 3200MHz 14-14-14-34 kit.

I was able to game for several hours last night and also run Karhu RAMTEST to over 13,000% coverage over night before I got an error running all 4 sticks at 3600 14-15-15-30 @ 1.452. I personally consider that stable enough for me but bumped up the voltage one notch to 1.458 for good measure.

To be honest I am surprised I was able to get this with 4 sticks of ram. I am running a 3900x on an Asrock Taichi x570.

Me too, these are my timings on the 8pack team Xtreme edition 3600@cl16, I've not tried the IF yet I'm waiting for my x570 tomahawk to arrive.

Saved result 1 is stock 3600@cl16, 2 is tighter 2nd and 3 rd and the current is whats shown.
