Terraria - Dig, fight, explore, build

His creations are very impressive! Whatever mine looks like when it's finished will pale in comparison. I have another statue idea, one that I'm positive nobody else will try, but I want to be able to record myself building it, so people know it's not made from a world creator.

Necro :p, I traded some good stuff for that haha

But still whoever trashed the dungeon wasn't me that last login was proof enough :)

Anyway i'm playing Realms with Anuraj it's damn good fun

Yeah the game is very fun. Sorry for the late reply here never check this thread out.

Kiss my arse, I haven't been on the server since I left due to your constant whinging. Frenchtart can check the logs to vouch for that :)

The only 1 whinging here is you Neil and your continued insults really do show how butthurt you are on the matter.

If you didn't trash the dungeon then I apologise but I would quite like to know who did. Hellstone with spikes and a tunnel to the ocean and additional spikes all over the way down doesn't happen by accident so SOMEONE did it. The only problem being it could've happened anytime because no-ones been inside the dungeon and you could get that far without killing Skeletron.

Tbh until you get a good sword you might as well just use the Pickaxe for combat.

There's a plugin for Tmod that kicks players if they have modified their inventory on another server/single player. That could be good.
How exactly does it work? I store some of my stuff on my single player map albeit less so now I have a piggy bank. I also experimented on my single player map trying to build some elegant arched bridges (failed). As a result I probably had/have some inventory that came from a single player map.

Would dumping my possibly contaminated materials solve the problem or for that matter what if some stone originating from my single player map is now spread around the tunnels on the server!

Would stone background tiles made from single player stone but crafted on the server still kick up problems?

I might need a special exemption. The fact gold is still my highest level equipment shows I'm not advantaging myself :)

It's not something that I'd bother to bring onto the current map/server but on starting a new map (and new players) it could be quite rocking.

For a new map it would be brilliant and really level the playing field. Not sure I can be bothered starting another new character any time soon but who knows in the future if there are any compelling updates :)

Yeah, me either. Still struggling along with my medium core character. The game is so much more scary now :)

Wait until you see the Dungeon... Hell is trivial compared to that place.

Are you able to spawn Skeletron btw?

I could put tmod on there now if you want to try it tonight. It'd involve a tiny bit of downtime and it'd have to be started up pretty quickly as I need to do other things tonight too.

Okay, I've discussed it with Evil and I'll be hopefully getting TMod on there tomorrow morningish.

At this point Evilsod will be made an admin and will be summoning Skeletron at some point later in the day(?) for a big group fight :)

How does the summoning thing work? I can guess the summon NPC by ID command is responsible but given that Skeletron isn't a single boss and is really 2 Hands and a Skull, do you have to summon them independently? Does it spawn the mob near your location or at your mouse pointer or something?

I may toggle the 'allow the spike placement' off if its possible, depending how it works. Its not a PvP server and so far the only use of spikes has been griefing. If people want them back on briefly for aesthetic reasons I would.

I'll move the world spawn too. Right now it spawns right next to the Hellevator which might be a bit confusing so I was hoping to shift it a little right to where Shami's house is.

Is there any handy link for a brief guide on some of the commands? FT sent me a google docs thing but that just details the commands/IDs.
