im a huge minecraft fan...this does appeal me! but i dont want to need steam to play it. id prefer this game if it was run just from an exe or a rar file with a few external folders. Like mincraft but more portable. so i could have it on my usb stick and play it on the crappy colleges laptops/pcs!

I think it can be launched independently of Steam actually, or so I've heard. I'll test it myself tonight.

One thing to bear in mind is that they have released this early and acknowledge it. So the part putting me off (proper steam integration) is coming and hopefully fairly shortly

Had a blast last night. For new people I highly recommend making armour asap. Mother slimes hurt.

Gameplay over graphics any day for me. Just because something looks nice, doesn't automatically make it fun!

Spent a few hours playing and I really do like it, can see myself wasting a lot of hours just like I do with Minecraft BUT I think it'd be a lot more fun in coop. Need to pester some friends into picking it up too.
