The tooltip on your cursor will appear when you can place it. Torches need to be clicked next to walls/floors etc

Though, the dedicated server still uses ~650MB RAM. I was hoping it would stop using such a ridiculous amount of RAM once it was dedicated

Oh man cobalt looks so terrible now. Flamelash damage has been buffed by about 1/3 though.

When I try to connect, What port should I be using? 7777 is the default but when I click accept nothing happens.

I had 198 hellstone bars so I asked if anyone wanted them. Dane and Silent said yes so they had a PvP fight to decide who got them... for some reason they couldn't hit each other so Dane got the bombs out and went to town!

Poor silent got blown to bits and dane got his hellstone.

It would be cool to make a wee arena in the map with winner getting prizes

The jungle part is just mental as the wasps and man eaters seem to move more health than most enemies you find (100 for wasps and god knows for the plants). However, managed to fight my way all the way to hell though with imps spawning in the jungle just before it, which was weird lol. Enjoying my upgraded grapling hook

i found jungle plate body before, cant wait to get the full set, will have all armour then. then i need a phoenix blaster, ivy whip and the Muramasa. LIFE COMPLETE

Not in terms of damage reduction - full molten has the highest defence iirc.

Just a note on the new resolution options:

Mobs only spawn outside the viewable screen. Therefore, if you're running Terraria in a HD resolution, you'll get *way* fewer mobs spawning than when you play at the original (800x600?) res.

I haven't tested this, but it makes sense (you never see things spawn in mid air, they come from off-screen). If it also affects imps, it may make farming hellstone and the like much easier - but you'll need to switch back to the old low resolution if you're farming mobs for loot.
