Terraria - Dig, fight, explore, build

Trust Email

Gareth as i've said before i won't send passwords out via email, please read the rules too many have destroyed our hard work in the past and we didn't know who it was.

I'm not one of those people that destroy things. Okay ill msg you on Steam then :/

I've added aedus to steam. I'll get the password off him via that at somepoint and he can add me to the list of users with access.

It's probably worth dropping him a trust message too. No harm in going for a two-pronged approach :)

Very true. Has the server got a new password or is it the same one that was being used a few days ago? I was on the old list of people having access, then some **** started destroying tiles with a pickaxe in our home base and not repairing it.

The server isn't very newb friendly, the mine shafts all drop without any supports/steps so I typically die!

Might have to work up to rocket boots in single player before I try and play online.

How do you recycle items and break them down to minerals again? Or is that not possible?

Not possible I don't think

You need a lucky horse shoe. I may have a spare. Will check.

Thoughts on this to play in a group please gents, there would be 4 of us.

I assume there is a save feature although how does this work in co-op? Is it a "constant" world?

Can you host locally?

Would it give good mileage?

Many Thanks.

Yup yup and yup.

This is how I've been playing it personally. Three/four of us on a server hosted on one of our home connections (left running constantly). I would advise that nobody reads *too* much in the wiki, beyond basic ideas...and also that one person doesn't play too much whilst other people aren't - getting too far ahead kind of spoils it.

I've still got hardly anything in this game. I think I've just made a bucket lol.

I'm digger under ground and found a chest and got a mirror which takes me back to start which is cool but other than that nothing :(

Thanks for the reply.

Would it be silly to play this and Mincecraft?

I have been tempted by Minecraft for a LONG time and this seems too good to pass up.

i have some stuff you can have bleek, cloud in a jar, balloon, horse shoe, hermes boots etc just say what you need.

Nice - I have the cloud (makes me jump higher), do you think I should keep hunting in single player so as not to ruin the fun or fastforward by taking gifts from you and other players?

They're very different games. This game is absolutely awesome (more fun that Minecraft imo) but you'll probably exhaust most of the fun in about ~40 hours of play. Minecraft is more of a sandbox/long-haul kind of game.
