The real question is, who will make the first flying car, Jaguar or Elon Musk?If that's an early chat bot then it's no wonder we don't have flying cars

comes to mind - I think bmw are producing pleasing concepts we'll see if jag does, much that jag seems to think they are/will-be a cut above bmw, I don't see that happening
jorgy had linked the good bbc podcast on the psychology of jag/musk interaction - listen to it.
Depending on perspective:
A. Flying into the bin? jaGuar.
B. Flying car? Musk, I want to say that's due to there being few to any other options from companies, but unfortunately for mankind his Space X reusable platforms are doing magic.
It's awful that such a man is running companies into actual success.

neither... not that it is relevant to here but it will be chinese. XPeng already have one and whilst other companies from other countries also have prototypes my money is on China.
PS i am not saying Musk doesnt have some input..... but imo he vastly over eggs his importance on the actual coal face.
Tesla were a thing before Musk and would continue to be a thing after IF he left....... I think i am right in saying it is the cybertruck which is the car which is primarily Musks baby and if that is the direction Musk lead tesla is gonna go then i hope he does leave!. Am not saying he didnt help back in the day.... without his money who knows what would have happened........ but take Space X, it was American tax payers money which stopped that going down the toilet iirc.
anyway.... back on topic, hopefully not long now until the reveal. i believe some in the media have already seen it and whilst i have not seen any leaks, 1 thing i did read was that we are in for a surprise when we see it (not sure if that is a good one or a bad one however)
its a shame the C X-75 never made it into production.... Not that i could have ever bought one, but it was (is) a beautiful work of art imo. I would love it if we were just being trolled and the big reveal is just an electric one of those - complete with Growler (albeit some would still moan about the loss of an engine).

I don't think I'd feel safe in either of those. One will randomly fly in to a building it didn't see, the other will stop running mid-flight.
But Musk ofc. The guy is basically autistic Weyland Yutani.

i am not a fan of 1950s era american cars so even without the pink i am not a fan..... also having that huge bonnet in front of the driver, i dont see how that will add anything to the driving experience. one of the advantages of an EV is being able to have a shorter bonnet not a longer one....
i guess i could accept that the side profile is its "least" ugly view.... but that is hardly high praise for a car that will cost over £100k and from a company which has some (in my subjective view) really good looking cars in its recent repertoire. I look at it and i think Mercury Coupe
looking at it more........... i like the windows.

It's pretty much a cliche of "futuristic car" design going back to the 1920s (the wheels especially reek of 1920s design)
