Terrible Jaguar re-brand

Shorter bonnets don’t shout luxury though, they don’t make a statement. A long bonnet is a hallmark of big expensive cars.
Only in a world where big bonnet = big powerful engine.

A proper luxury car is where the back seats are better than the front ;)

Oh I hear you but when's the last time you saw a new car and thought 'ooft, they got that right?'

Jaguar are doing ugly like every other manufacturer.
Design is very subjective and new designs/changes usually take a few years to settle into people minds.
Also, change is usually tough for most people to adopt & accept and triggers the 'OMG WHAT HAVE THEY DONE' messages across social media.

Often the same people then complain about some designs being stagnant and boring.

Either way - I've come to realise that we would all still be living in caves and catching fish with hand made spears, if anti-change people got their way ! :p

Problem is without a long bonnet you end up with something that looks akin to a Ford Galaxy. Not very sexy.

Jaguars new car looks like what a car would look like, if you were trying to make a cake of a jaguar with marzipan.

it literallly has the lines of a cake... look at the front end... its a cake

Forget about them copying the 2003 Cadillac Sixteen concept car, how about JaG copying the production Cadillac Celestiq from the now?
Haha.......definitely looks like the Sixteen became real = Celestiq. Even the interior looks the same

Edit: could it actually be the same car? Looks like it shares a lot of similar target market/premium look and feel.

dare to be different = short bonnet - long enough for crash structures, reactive bonnet for pedestrain safety .. modern version of esprit ?
reduce that rotational moment

Nasher doesn't pretend to be superior over everyone else, and isn't rude and condescending.
Well that’s an opinion but I though Nasher calling everyone who worked at jaguar morons ( directed) was what prompted the thread clean up.

Anyway I await Nasher’s new job in the auto industry to have an impact rather than just throw shade
