Terrible Jaguar re-brand

The presentation was bold - great to see a British car maker pushing boundaries and challenging normal convention .
I’m looking forward to seeing the new Jaguar cars over the next few years :)

It must be pretty indicative of the real thing if it’s coming out in 26 though. That’s not far at all when it comes to car development.
The real one or at least a test mule was leaked back in November

Hopefully it still looks something like that (an actual car) rather than this concept naff-ness.

Do not like, do not like!

As on page 1, complete destruction of a UK brand to compete globally when all they have done is join the rest of the manufacturers in this world.

New car design looks awful! Absolute shame, I love my XE, want an F-Type and another XE to be honest.

It's a concept car... they will take design cues from what has been presented and fold that into a production ready model. Concept cars always make everyone lose their mind (either in a positive or negative way). A slightly more extreme example but just take a look at the concept car for the Dacia Duster...

Fair play to JLR, still not a fan of the logotype or overall design of the car but I think they might actually pull this off.

The viral hate towards the brand has been staggering but everyone is talking and eagerly awaiting.

Eagerly awaiting actual pics....the logo is just gash and the brand stands for nothing now.

Looks like they have changed the rear, or that's just some kind of mule.

Or they realised the side profile was identical to the Cadillac's. So they adjusted it with a sledge hammer.

Show me a concept car that looks similar to the finished thing anyway.
Well yeah, so for so much fuss it was a bit disappointing we just have some renders. Will be interesting to hear Frank Stephenson's opinion, assuming he does a video on it.

You say the hate towards the brand, but actually the figures show after the first day where the responses were mainly negative, by day 3 they had actually swung to a mainly positive.

People hate change, especially Jag's historical customer base. They would have never gone electric, so bin them off and try to attract a new customer base was the only way it was going to work, esspecially as they are being forced down the all electric route by the government, to offset the non electric Land Rover and Range Rover side.

I cant help feeling the brief was, Annoy Nigel Farage as much as possible and ensure he vows never to buy a Jaguar ever again ....

So it would just look like this older Cadillac instead....

There is no getting away with the side profile.

What is this new customer base they are they trying to attact exactly?

What figures? Not trying to poke a hole in your statement, just curious :)

I’d buy anything that annoyed farage.

I would love to know how much JLR are paying Harry. This video proves just how much of a sell out this chap is, lol.

I'm sure when an actual car is realised, he'll throw up a video slating it for only being able to tow a caravan 5 miles and taking more than 10 minutes to charge from 0-100%. Definitely.

I imagine he'll receive it the day he receives a new Defender V8 to long-term trial, and all of a sudden any downside of an EV will become an upside.
