So with the cost of the model 3 now being the same cost as the model y (midnight silver metallic, standard wheels), I'm tempted to replace my 3 for a Y.
One downside; the mrs has ordered a y... she won't be happy if we end up with the same car
I just can't justify paying £6k more for a 3 (compared to Sep 21) and getting a smaller car, plus the lead time is 5-6 months more on a 3.
Had some lease quotes on the Y sitting in my inbox for the last 2 days and it's getting hard to resist. Seriously tempted to just tell her that Tesla have agreed to replace my 3 for a Y and "deal with it"

. I store a folding bike in the boot on trips and overnight stays away, no way could I risk that without it being completely invisible to the outside.
