There's a few mods there, but AC is very open to the modding community. But you're right, it's not an arcade at all, it's a full on simulator.

In our interview with KT Racing, Creative Director Alain Jarniou told us TDUSC will be shown again "as soon as possible" but the studio is "taking the time we need to make the best game possible."
TDUSC was last shown at Nacon's Connect event in July. This year, Nacon is hosting an earlier event in March, but TDUSC won't be shown. However, KT Racing will share a new TDUSC update before the Nacon Connect event on 9 March. We could get new screenshots or possibly a new teaser trailer.
However, we expect to get a proper look at the game during Nacon's annual July Connect event.

TDU2 was awesome, I have a couple hundred hours in that, sadly they shut the servers down and it is not playable anymore.
I've not tried in awhile but if you pulled internet or blocked the application before starting the launcher you could play offline, there are 3rd party patches for it as well but they seem a bit dodgy sadly. Really annoys me the developer/publisher didn't sunset the game properly.
Also not sure what the situation is with Securom activation any more, I deactivated one of the installs I had the other day when pulling a system apart but not tried activating one in awhile - probably the publisher is no longer paying for the service.
Really wish someone would remake the game with updated graphics, etc.
Project Paradise 2 runs servers for it. I have no idea what they're like, so caveat emptor.

assuming she is a actress playing what will be an in game character called Vivian, from the way she puts it they are announcing other folk so maybe its just more actors playing characters, giving insight to the games "enemies"?
