Bottom middlish of the map IIRC (if its the same one).

Basically reach 180MPH and get around $70,000. Its incredibly easy as you just turn around at the start line, and go the other way down a straight road. Takes about 15 secs, then you can just keep retrying it to get quick money.

Yup. Thing is, if I sell it I know i'll regret it heavily as this is one of 3 titles I've waited all year for (dead rising, tdu, GoW) so I am tempted to start out again as I've got more experience and now how to make fast cash...the trouble is doing all those races again fills me with dread. Especially now that I've seen how fragile TDU savegames are.

Edit:Took out the memcard and tried TDU. The corrupt save msg popped up sadly, answering no to the delete prompt just made it re-appear and I couldn't even get ingame.
Edit: Inserted the memory card and the prompt still popped up, but I can now get ingame lol. To those reading this, DO NOT backup your TDU savegames to a memory card or you could end up like me.

I've copied my savegame to a memcard loads of times and not had any problems.

perhaps it's one of those bugs that only manifests itself if the moon is in a certain quadrant and the wind is blowing in a certain direction at the same time. ie...rare!

Thats the thing though. it's not rare at all. I've seen corrupt savegame thread on a lot of forums lately for tdu. I just hope Atari do something quick to prevent further probs.

hmmmm...sounds like i've been lucky then?

all i do is copy the saves to the mem card and then take the mem card out of the 360 (i never keep it in there)
 
I'd not touch the TDU saves tbh. We've no idea how they've implemented the savegame feature on the game, and this could possibly be a way to prevent cheating. I've no idea.

All I do know is, it's sickening to be in my situation. I've just restarted again, but only just realised that I have to do the car delivery missions all over again to get my dream Mustang GTR :(
