omg tdu is actually making me crack up. I have become totally stuck on two time trials - Tantalus and the one where you have to have a maserati to enter. The latter, i about 15 seconds off always (even using the 750,000 maserati and i still cane it all the way to the finish line). As for Tantalus, the driving meter coupled with the totally urforgiving timelimit make it, for me, the hardest challenge in the game. I can see im going to have to play them both
till i beat em. On a +ve note i did get the explorer achievement without really trying. hehe.
 
Seen enough people on the TDU forums on Xbox.com whinging about the Tantulas, enough to put me off that race. I'll prolly be doing that race last :p

To do the Maserati Time Trial I had to stage 3 tune the MC12. As for Tantalus I had to by an Enzo and stage 3 tune it. Did them both first time after doing that.

I either needed a MC12 Stage 3 too or I'm thinking of the wrong challenge.

As for Tanty, I first tried in a Maclaren F1 GTR Stage 3, didn't work, so I left it for a bit and came back with my Murciélago, did it first attempt.
 
First off sorry to OweO for being a bit nooby with online things, the book explains little and I only had the game since thursday, most of my time has been offline building car collections. :)

Secondly, how do you tune Ferraris ?
I have tuning shops but none I can see do Ferrari's or Lambo's unless you have to be top level to unlock ?

I went to paint up the F430 spyder and paint shop wont allow it lol, I guess maybe a ferrari licensing thing ??
 
you can tune ferrari's at the forza tuning shop

you can find it just above and to the left of the VW showroom

bottom right area of the map

never tried to paint any of my ferrari's as ALL ferrari's should be red ! end of...

Saw a pink one in my rear view camera yesterday as I was cruising about in my Camero. Had to double check though because it was shocking, then I crashed into a school bus as the ferrari went past. It was a two tone metallic pink 430 :(

No worries. Been getting annoyed with the diner races again.

There seems to be some bugs creeping back in. One was a race that was 1.6 miles long yet the winning time was 12.56 seconds in a Alfa GT 3.2 V6 24v. I tried it in the saleen TT Stage 3 and was something like 45 seonds down even though I was doing 240mph+. :confused:

Also I hasve noticed people are winning speed trials again in cars that don't meet the requirements. (SLR challenge won by a guy in a saleen S7 TT)

A tad annoying especially as I had the fastest real speed in a SLR.

I think you can only use original ferrari colors and the snazzy custom ones you can create for most other cars.

yer - look at the leaderboards for the 180 mph in heavy traffic challenge - the guy with #1 spot has his max speed clocked at 459 mph. How the hell can you go that fast?

OMG... I just did the Millionaire's Challenge in 59'35''01 :eek: 25 seconds longer and I would have got a silver :eek:

Hmm... Mclaren F1 or an Enzo?
