As far as i can remember this is one of the last races that is unlocked - for good reason too as it is a nightmare to finish. I bought the F1 after i had beaten everything and just before i sold the game. After the qucik go i had with that car i wish i had used it more, as it seemed to have miles better handling. meh
 
Completed the Tantalus sunday .. phew ... .56 secs under in the CCR with one head on and 3 small off road penalties.

Just done all the hitchhikers missions and most of the courier .... I have 2 couriers missing from the map, so need to locate them.
Anyone help with that ?

Just filter the ones you have done and the ones you need to do.
 
Anyone got any general tips, i did the first 60 or so races GOLD with no issues, but as they get harder my inability to drive is showing - i spin about all over the place

Brake a lot for corners, only keep your foot down when you have a fully upgraded car and the corners is not too harsh. I alwasy used the slow in, fast out thing, worked for me. Only 3 races i had any probs with.
 
What I meant, was I havent uncovered them by driving near enough, so they are not showing on the map, if someone could give me the area to look in then I can drive until I find them :)

McDaniel, try setting the driver aid to sport in the game options, I had it off right up until my last time challenges (Maserati and Tantalus).

Tantalus is an absolute &*^%, I tried it about 4 times and kept failing due to going off road too much, and when i finally completed it I got a load of panalties which meant i got a silver :mad:

Not too far off completeion now, 2 races and 4 time trials left then all single player missions are complete.

Anyone fancying a go in a scary car go to the chrysler garage and take the ME FOUR thing out for a test, 850HP but i swear it just doesnt stop accelerating. I thought my Lvl3 Koeniggsegg was fast but that thing is off the scale.
 
No bother mate and aye the Chrysler is stupidly quick way harder to control than the 'segg.

Aye the Tantalus challenge is quite difficult but I managed it first time in the Enzo; quite luckily because I see a lot of people complaining that it is the hardest challenge in the game.

Does anyone know where Oahu Raceway is, says its unlocked, don't have a clue what, where it is :confused: And ford island, supposidly unlocked that a while ago :confused: :p

the raceway is on the bottom of the map towards the left ahnd side. Its marked out as just a road, but it goes in a oval shape with only the entrance as a connecting road, so its not too difficult to spot on the map. Top right of grid reference I-7 o n your map.

GOt all the single player callenges complete tonight :D Jsut the hitchhiker missions etc to finish now :)
 
Its not too bad really, just take your time and only overtake when you can see the road is clear. Getting the time isnt the hard part, its beating the penalties, so if you can do the race without losing many points youll ace it first time.
 
nice going to do all the races 1st as only got about 4 left to do and then give it another shot, what car you use. Find the enzo the easiest to control.
 
Lost all my progress on this due to my hard drive dying, I'm not sure I can ever load the game back up again now, I just don't fancy redoing everything :(

All I had left to do were the courier and hitchhiker missions.
 
Hey All,

This is a really big thread so I wont lie am a bit to lazy to read it.

Anyone feel like telling me is this a good game to own? As i'm tempted to go buy it. I played the demo and thought it was alright but sold my 360 before it came out so never bought it. Now I have one again and no longer have PGR3 so need something to fill my racing void :D

Definately worth a look mate, ive not touched PGR really because of this game. Most of the races generally are easy apart from the odd few, but they are great fun.
