hehe i got 1.9mil in the bank :D i found the best way to earn money was to spam missions that pay out 50k, but only take 1min30-2mins to complete :) there are a few speed trap missions like this that i jst repeat when i get low ^^

i would say that the delivery mission arnt that good really, take too long for the cash you get even if it perfect
 
My copy came this morning, been playing it all day, today was just really playing about with the game, have put in well over 400 miles !!

Got a Segaris, Lotus, R32, and a Nissan 350 Z in my garage, the only thing I find annoying is the traffic cars, they are a right pain in the rear end.

it uses instancing, so you only see people around you who are on the same server basically, and every so often it seems to drift you onto others servers so you see other people.

it's a shame, but technically i just presume it wasnt possible to bring everyone together seamlessly.
 
I got this game this morning, I had to make a new gamespy account as my old beta one didnt work. Having a few problems though, the game is saying that the TDU servers are up but im not seeing Anyone online and i keep getting a message saying the server is down. Anyone getting this? I could play properly in beta.

Exactly the same here...had to create a new ID and use a new nickname. Doing exactly the same things as i was in the beta when looking for real people and i haven't found any. None show up at all when i look for players on the map.

Its a good game, the online side at the moment doesn't seem very good, hardly see anyone on the same road and when I do they are eithr just stationary or lagging past.

Graphics are fairly good, runs ok on max on mine, police are a waste of time and very annoying.

Can you choose which server you go as would be nice to meet some of you guys on there!
 
The server started working properly for me now, was just driving along and *BAM* people appeared as they should.

Best thing to do if you want to meet up is name a fairly remote spot and wait around there, occasionally checking your map to see if the other person is there...sometimes you can be in the same place but not the same "session" so you'll see them on the map but not in front of you.

Thats what I hated from the beta, really put me off buying this game, I probably will once the price drops a bit more.

Yer I noticed that :)

I laughed earlier tho when someone in a ferrari was racing me in my Audi TT and they suddenly flew off on a tight corner haha :)

I have heard loads of people's music aswell :confused: hear SOAD earlier in the day and some dance music tonight. I even heard some french people talking.
Appart from that it doesn't feel like a online game at all. It makes me think I'm playing it on my xbox and I keep pushing the start button to try to get the menu up lol.
