They decided to make is user friendly my getting rid of the old easy to use menu system and replace it with relatively incomprehensible icons set out in an odd layout.
Had 2/3 of a backpack worth of duplicate items to craft but no luck in wrench land, oh well half way to being able to craft a hat now anyway.
The actual update should be good though, demomen will cause much chaos come release.
I don't think the new shotgun is overpowered at all, its half the clip size (3) you loose random crits, so in most cases its a lot worse than the standard one and without crits it leaves you (one of the weakest classes) really lacking in mid range and relying on the pistol more which is at its best harassing at longer ranges. It will be a very situational weapon only good in cases where you've got a good sentry spot so as to get a fair few kills, but not so good that your better of just keeping the sentry up/turtling behind it and not having it destroyed to get the crits. A few crits can't hold down a bottleneck but a sentry can.
What it will be good for is the surprise sentry tactics especially in the more open maps CP maps, putting down a lvl 1 sentry in an odd place letting it get a few kills before moving it and getting your crits (which is always great fun). I just feel that the majority of the time either your (and your team is) better off with normal shotgun and sentry tactics or you'll get nowhere trying to get some crits with surprise tactics. So yeah definitely not overpowered and as I said very situational, so could be a good/fun unlock that moves away for the turtling instinct and will give a bit of diversity to the class for the people who never move more than 2ft away from their sentry nest.
