Agree on the Admin front. I can see why you don't want to hand out too much power but atm there's quite often periods when we can't get a hold of an admin when there's muppets on the server. Luckily you were around last night when that idiot was on. Long as you keep it to the sensible regulars I don't have a problem with who gets admin.

My personal suggestions would be Anim, [OcUK] Duke and fcuk. I Like Turtles. Possibly "The Cheese" as well but I don't really know him that well, don't think he's a member here either is he?

yep, limited admin I will hand out to sensible regulars only to set vote next maps, kick idiots, ban hackers. I am disabling all the burn, beacon and gravity pish. These admins wont be able to target each other either. So, they shouldnt be using it hardly ever.

I have limited admin for these users as I dont want to have deal with arguments about MR X burnt me and erm I banned him...... that isnt fun for me. So please be sensible with it.

I dont want to come across as me being like Hitler with it. I just want us to all have fun and some good TF2 OCUK times :)

As Windle said - My next thing is to charge £1.50 per month for a reserve slot. So depending on interest I'll buy additional slots say 4 (24+4=28), and recoup that money by charging a nominal fee for a reserve slot. I wont use the reserve slot syetm and only sell enough slots for each slot we have.

So if u wanna buy a slot, it will guarantee you on the server. People who dont buy one, wont get kicked if your one of the normal 24 slots, as I'll set reserve slots to hide .i.e it will look like 26/24 on the server browser.

Make sense?

Anyway must get back to sorting these admin groups
 
Yeah I played for a few yesterday - seemed like a great server, the OCUK guys were all decent players and friendly. The server is on my favourites list - it's just a shame I never seem to see 2fort on there :(

Occasionally we vote it on. I normally vote Steel on :D Oxy plans sound good and totally agree about restricting admin to the essentials which are Kick, Ban, Map change etc.
 
Dont worry, i'll be one of the loudest campaigners for keeping the server relatively clean of mods. The only ones really necessary are those that make the admins life easier.

mapcycle is dustbowl, goldrush, badwater. But we have voted nextmap on things like 2fort, gravelpit, steel, lazytown, pl_dustbowl, well etc etc.

I have just setup more limited admins so more nextmap votes should occur.

I have set it up like this so it remains busy for long periods of the day.

EDIT: new admins please dont constantly change map, kick p[eople for no reason or to get ** mate on the server, only kick afk if u want to create a free slot.

If its abused, ill have to remove it :)

Cool, thanks for the admin. I will try it later. Email a MOD from the FAQ to get it stickied I guess.
