Yeah great exercise, hammer curls help as well.

Do any of you find folk get a bit intimidated if you're a big boy.

Went into tesco for some shopping, and i felt sorry for the checkout girl. She was shaking like a rabbit until i chirped up and got all friendly with her, guess too many folk read up on raoul moat sigh.

So i appear to be having all the luck in the world. Got food poisoning the week i signed up to the gym and couldnt go for like 8 days. Skip forward after 3 sessions got back today after doing deadlifts, so tired i could barely walk then i slipped down the stairs and broke the handrail uprights with my toe.. Now i really can barely walk. Toe is missing a chunk and half my foot is majorly bruised.

Awesome! :(

Just how big are you? Can't sa I intimidate normal people in day to day life. Could be because I'm generally smiling though!

Can't really see a woman shaking with fear at the sight of a man unless he was 6'6 and 160kg of muscle, with a shaved head and a huge scar down his face, and was carrying a shotgun.

You sure you just didn't forget to wash that morning?

Well i don't smile and do have an icy stare, not intentional just the way i am.

Im just shy of 15stone with not a whole lot of fat, she kept staring down and did look very intimidated, im not trying to blow my own trumpet here but i really did feel sorry for her.

She was on the small side mind.

Saying that i was in my running tights, my gym slacks were in the drier today.

Wash haha or perhaps it's all this free test from the daa turning her on, god knows. :D

And there was me thinking you were built like ^TANK^ lol.
It was probably your attitude or that you had too much on show for her liking :p

BW is usually warm up and tend to just do around 10 or so.

I will also do them on warm down as a last burn out set.

PS - CoC are quite good, but most people struggle with the trainer and the #1 is already quite taxing for most. It does help, but it takes years and years of training to build up significant grip.

I appreciate your irritation of your grip - I have the opposite problem, my strength gives out before my grip! :(

Plate pinches are good, as are wrist rollers - you can make these yourself and save money. :)

im such a numpty,

i solved my grip issues, after sleeping on it.

i always used double overhand grip, i switched to mixed grip and alternated between sets. no grip problems what so ever, im now in the same boat as you, strength giving out before grip.

no need to buy grippers for now anyway or straps for that matter.

I'm not built like morba or tank but nor am I a skinny dude and get nothing but smiles from check out girls and women in general probably because I smile and flirt with most women I meet. I don't think it's because you're a big I think it's just your attitude.

Psycho, mixed grip is what I use when double overhand starts to fail when it gets heavy.

Probaly find that she just has some serious self confidence issues and would have been quivering if you weight 8 or 18 stone!

Saw a total unit at Thope Park yesterday (un-natural) of course. Left his legs at home as per usual.

I didn't really understand why he was there as I find most of the seats uncomfortable to sit in so god nows how he would fit into them. With the harness which lowers down either obstructing me from breathing properly or squashing my thighs and cutting of circulation! The only ride which had bigger seating accomodating for a 51" chest was Nemesis Inferno. I'm around the 46/47" so not massive by anyones standard but often find myself worrying that I'm going to pass out because I can't breathe properly!

If by tank you mean chieftan, then yeah you might be right. :p

Though gains are nice, it's having to adjust to all the eating that's awkward, all clean of course. ;)

Chest is looking lovely, i really can't wait till feb/march when i decide to cut for the summer. :D
