I guess that's what I'm doing. They are a killer. Only 5kg but 3 sets hurts!
Hurts?
What type of pain is it?
Or do you just mean hurt as in it's very hard to do?

What do you care about getting a pump for?
Also the best thign for shoulders is the standing barbell press.
It's also one of the biggest causes of shoulder injury
the way some of the muscles rub against bone can cause quite a lot of pain.
Yet to find something that works better though.
So hot in the Gym yesterday, after my Squats my pumps were soaking wet
Anyone here use liquid chalk? Summer time my palms are sweatier than Gary Glitters at Pre-School.
for the last two weeks in my shoulder session i have included the Dragan Challange;
Curl & Press a set of 16kg dumbbells for 100 reps, shoulders get an absolute blasting. It takes me 4/5 sets to do this - 1 minute rest
The gym's I go to don't allow chalk but they make an exception for me since I never make a mess and always tidy up after myself.
Aye my gym is the same regarding chalk. How messy can the liquid variety get? Might just pick some up anyway and give it a whirl.
So a curl then an Arnold press?
It only gets messy if you use too much of it. I use very little.
I've had the same bottle for nearly 2 years now.
