Why on earth would you want 4000 calories of protein? That must be over 500g per day. Do you not eat any carbs?

I don't think he's eating 4000 calories of protein :p

I ate between 3500-4000 calories for a week or two in my third year at uni. Was just over 300grams per day I think. Far too much for me personally but I wanted to try it to see.

Little update guys.

Still doing bits of HIIT, although I haven't done much recently :(

I'm feeling more and more hungry each day, no matter what I eat. I can eat enough to stop me wanting to eat more, but not so much to make the hunger go away

Still, I'm coming up close to 120 pounds.

Just looked back on a thread I made in august 2008. I'm about 20 cm taller, and 3 stone heavier than when I made that thread  :D
Congrats mate :)

Just as a heads up, the whole point of HST is that you do it as a structured program. Any breaks are likely to mess up your progress.

Keep eating!

SkSkotchegg, you're certainly not shy of saying you're massive are you? :p

I'm expecting big changes since your last pics in the bodybuilding thread :)

Body dismorphia, its the same sort of thing as anorexics never feeling skinny enough. I imagine its something millions of people suffer from to a small degree at least

Yeah, ya know what else I read as well, that some people get quite depressed when they have time off training when they've been at it a long time and train everyday.

I think some days on my days off the gym I feel a bit down, and I didnt realise why, but I think its coz my brain is missing the endorphins, so think to counter this on my days off I should do some running to keep my brain happy lol.

The lack of exercise depression is proven. It's because exercising releases endorphins. Endorphins are the happy hormone. Lack of those == depression.

body dysmorphic disorder is a disorder suffered by people who continually adjust their body. Be it through plastic surgery, or other drastic measures. I'm not sure I'd call a BB fanatic someone with BDD, but that line is hazy so I am probably wrong. :)

I dunno most people would call what a lot of people put their bodies through in terms of exercise/diet to achive the body they want as pretty dastic, I suppose it all depends where you're looking at it from.

Changing subject, but I'm actually really happy with the progress I've made recently, my shoulders look massive, litterally, which then make my arms look even bigger, my chest is bigger, my back is huge, legs are an inch bigger then last time I measured em. I'm starting to think that my diet is perfect for muscle growth, and my routine at the gym is really working. I've been learning about nutrition for past year now and I think its starting to finally pay off for me.

The only thing is though I can tell with my stomache and face that I've gained a tiny bit of fat as well, so think am gona start doing cardio again like hardcore.

Mate are you trying to bulk or cut? In one sentence you're saying about trying to get bigger, enjoying being bigger, etc etc. Then the next you're saying you want to start doing cardio to cut down on fat.
