Felt strong this morning.

Smashed out the OHP 5x5 @ 50kgs
Deadlift 5x60kg, 5x80kg, 3x100kg, 5x120kg
Squats... Forgot my actual gym shorts, and bar hulking through my tiny swimming shorts this wasnt going to happen, probably good though as I only did 92.5kg yesterday and would have struggled with 95kg today.

BW chin ups, managed 6,5,5

18 mins Calisthenics circuit as before, this is horrible after working out but I need to burn some fat.

Protein shake after made me fill sick. bleurgh!

Not a great session, not sure why.

Bench

3x 85
5x 95 - This was horrible, don't know why. Expected 7 or 8.

Boring but big

10x 57.5 (I lowered my 1rm % and paused every rep on the chest as thats where I was getting stuck 1-3 seconds on the pauses)

Pullups

Rolling :)


Very interested in next weeks 5/3/1 bench, perhaps I've lost strength in training for the tournament or perhaps it was just a horrible day ^^

5 seems pretty low for a 531 + set. What did you get the week before? Lowest I've hit on a bad day is 7.

I normally get 10-12 reps in the first week then drop 1-2 reps each week as the weight increases.

Example.
Deadlift in week 1 of this cycle was really bad, got 167.7 x 7, but then the week after I got 177.5x10.

Just back home and went to the ole gym, decided today was chest and broceps day.

10 minutes on crosstrainer

Chest press
50kg x10
70kg x10
90kg x10
110kg x10
110kg x10
110kg x10
110kg x10
110kg x10
80kg x10
60kg x10

Barbell brocep curls
15kg x10
15kg x10
15kg x10
15kg x6
10kg x4

Farmers walk
10.5kg each hand
12 lengths of the gym, 3 sets of 4 lengths.

Stretches and then Steam room

I noticed I've some bruises and missing skin on my shoulder blades, probably from the chest press, I still dig my back in and chest out like I use to on benchpressing.

Ah well, now it looks like I've a trifecta of scars on my back haha, two up top and one bellow in the centre. :p

Worst thing is how weak my legs still are, oh muscle atrophy thou art a heartless thing. :(

Nah that last one is just perfection. Strong legs, dat ass, not over the top abs and no ridiculous fake teddies. hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngngngngngngnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng might have to go to the gym today after all
