Does anyone do Boring But Big with their 5/3/1 ?

I'm tempted to give it a blast, when I get back to the gym ( may have to take two weeks off - no gym access soon :( )

I did it last month, it was OK, great for conditioning but I miss the variety.
 
Ok. Most inspiring thing at the gym today. A women paralysed front the waist down hitting the weights. HARD. Bravo. So awesome to see. So much respect. :cool:

Yeah definately mate :)
I have a long term conditions so can relate to that. Makes me train harder.

Yeah I usally do BBB. Find it more exausting that trim one, not tried any of the others but my strength has been steadly increasing. Currently doing it @50% and it kills me.

Girl that goes to my gym, has been going in on crutches everyday doing weights. Machines, but still bravo!

Seen her last week with the crutches off, on the x-trainer. She was on it when I got there, I left an hour and a half later and she was still in on the bike. Kudos :)

Hanging leg raises and ab rollouts.

Deadlifts hurt like hell, but I left feeling like I had more in the tank and was dying to to some lunges :/

There were some brazillian paralympians training in my gym the other day too, props to them. But I gotta say, some of them didn't look like paralympians at all ;)

Had an okay shoulders and legs session. Didn't do any goblet squats because I was pretty spent after spinning class. Also, I feel better about doing a spinning class as I don't generally do any CV work!

Spinning group class - 45 mins.

BB Squats 80kgx5, 80kgx5, 90kgx5, 90kgx5, 100kgx5;

BB Calf Raises 80kgx5x5;

BB SLDLs 100kgx5x5 - mixed grip for 3 sets;

DB Step-up lunges 2x16kg for 5 sets and 5 reps each leg;

DB Shoulder press 2x16kgx8 for 3 sets;

DB side and front raises 2x8kgx8, 2x5kgx8, 2x5kgx8;

Plate pinch shrugs 2x10kgx8, 2x10kgx8, 2x10kg+2x5kgx8;

Would have liked to do the goblet squats, but it was also getting late and spinning class was a bit impromptu as my new training partner is looking to lose weight and trim down with CV work and some weight lifting work.

Spinning then weights? You must be mad.
Guessing the weights are not the priority, as spinning will be detrimental to your lifting?
