Pics of my temporary gym as promised.

Off to train in a bit, beasting the back today although I might have to miss out Deads due to safety concerns.

So I stopped going to the gym about a year ago and went back for the first time today. Last year I was squatting 110kg for five reps and today I was finding 60kg hard (What I would have warmed up with). I was tired and hadn't eaten much though.

How hard will it be to get that strength back? Anyone else gone through this?

There's no formula/rule that says you'll get that strength back after x amount of time. Just make sure you do the lift correctly and use a progressive load program i.e. strong lifts.

Good work SMed, last rep looked fun!

Was that guy in front doing push ups? lol

Thanks mate.

Those guys were doing some sort of bodyweight circuit involving pushups, pullups or something. This was near the end of it, and they'd been doing it for 10 minutes. They started of strict then, understandably, got sloppy. The pullups turned into some weird foot-on-barbell pullup/row type thing. Anyway, it looked tough and would have probably made me puke (but I'm pretty unfit).
