Is there anywhere to get valslides from that isn't £50+? :/

Try their website: http://www.valslide.com/shop/valslide-classic
Not sure about UK shipping. I paid around £30 shipped from there a couple of years ago.

There are also different brand versions - search Amazon for "Valslide" and a few alternatives appear. You can also get super-cheap (a few quid) furniture sliders which I am told can work just as well.

Ah, cheers. I may try out those links...or furniture sliders :p

Tbh I do have floor boards upstairs so I could just use socks on those I guess.

Anyone got any advice on how to build an even chest with a mild case of pectus excavatum? My chest seems to be building a lot more on the outside than central. Or should I just stick to strong lifts and see if it evens out? I've heard dumbell pull overs are decent for it.

It's okay, Syla5 slacks off the gym when he's busy at work, I think flu is a valid reason :p

(part of the haven't been to the gym this week due to pulled trap krew)

Recently caught a massive flu bug , looks like our be out of the gym for a week minimum..

****ING SUCKS.

You can probably do more than you realize. When I was peaking for my first powerlifting comp, I caught a chest infection (needed antibiotics and everything) that gave me a really heavy cough. I still managed to struggle through my final heavy squat and bench sessions.

Dumbells for what? Flyes, press, pullover? Think i would just do flyes and pullover.

Dumbells for chest press. Flyes and pull-overs are not real exercises... ;) :D

If you have the condition you describe, then you have to make doubly sure you're as mobile and flexible as you can.
