Haven't trained consistently since around January either, had weeks when I've trained 4-5 days, then weeks where I've trained once or twice. Diet has been crap and some days I've had breakfast and dinner and that's it

Back in to it now though, enjoying it for the time being

Am I being silly or is icecold's mobility thread gone?!?!
Thoughts on voodoo floss bands vs a pipe or foam roller? Obviously there are some muscles you just can't get at with the band but for things like calves and bizentrize, is it band worth buying?

They work in a certain way.

Far cheaper to get a punctured bike inner tube and cut it up to make a band, however... Works just as well. :)

Ooooh thanks!

No worries.

The benefit is, however, quite short term (from personal experience): I generally used tack floss/inner tubes when I was doing unpleasant volumes every day and needed to breath life back into my tendons or very sore muscles... But the relief lasts for a session and that was pretty much it.

I really need to get my diet in check - eating everything in sight is a great deal of fun, and I'm really seeing the results in the gym as I'm seeing decent growth / strength gains, but its also leading to the return of the gut.

I've got a holiday in 7 weeks so need to reign it in... I sense I'm going to be very cranky for the next 7 weeks!

That's one thing that's okay, my diet. It's just consistency that I'm struggling with, though managing 3x a week at the moment. Want to up that to 4x at least though :(

I've actually just started to do SL as something to give me a bit of structure. It's not that taxing, but I wanted to give myself a psychological boost to getting back into it.

That's exactly why I love SL so much. Doesn't matter what stage of your lifting career you're at - it's amazing for beginners and returning veterans alike.

3 days a week is still brilliant FF, especially if consistent. Don't underestimate the stimulus you can get from 3 sessions a week :)

Thanks :)

I'll get back there. My 640 total I was aiming for this year now seems a distant memory.

However as you say, if I can keep things consistent, then, even if I only get 90% of the way there, I'll be happy.
