When I first started taking it I couldn't stand still and paced around in-between sets. :p

Haha, I was doing the same. At one point I was sat down in between a set and my foot was tapping uncontrollably. I only took half the recommended quantity too just to make sure that it agreed with me. Can't wait til chest day tomorrow :D

Bear in mind with preworkout that the more you use them, the more your body learns to tolerate them. It's always best to save them for when you're feeling like you're flagging :)

One of the active ingredients is caffeine too - so the more coffee you drink on a daily basis, the less effective a pre-workout will have in regards to giving you that energy you crave :)

I like to super set them with normal lunges, good way to bring tears to your eyes. :p

Do deficit ones if you want to feel like dying.

Like dis.

Every time I do them I ask myself "why are you doing this to yourself? WHY?!", especially now I'm past 20kg a side and it feels like doing a farmers walk in my traps too. Maximum gurning face every time.

Just realised, I have sets 3 of 10 with 22.5kg in each hand today. *@#%!

Dumbell chest press neutral grip (struggling to get above 36kg with these, but hoping the other chest exercises will help)
Barbell chest press
Decline chest press
Incline chest press
Dumbell fly

Yup, chest day. Shoulder feels good today, rotation exercises are definitely working, but have lost a lot of chest strength in the meantime. Bumped into a neighbour half way through, so looked super weak by the end! He then introduced me to some kind of weighted sled push - good exercise, but not after the rest of my workout.

Deadlifts and other back exercises tomorrow.

Juicy.

Something to be said for the uniquely exquisite agony they produce...

I joke but it was a really rank headache, felt like a balloon was being inflated in my skull and pushing my eyes out my head. I had visions of having an aneurysm or something.

It's getting silly with the weights too, holding/strapping more and more plates to my hands is getting fiddly.

Pause them, then. ;)

My routine used to go something like:

FRONT SQUAT: 12-10-10-8-8
DBSS: 10-10-10

This was followed by temporary inability to function... At all.

Its back day!!!
