Look into working offshore, there are thousand of guys currently working in the north sea earning a crap load for having no discernible skills or experience, I should know I'm one of them.

I woke up this morning, with the feeling I need to do something with my life.

28 next month and I have yet to find a job I remotely enjoy, not enough money in them for me to want stay!

Took the morning off work(self employed) and applied for 7 jobs. :D

6 of them I have no experience in but, can only try!

You've accomplished more than FoxEye already!

There's a guy that I work with who lives down that way, he says he can't find work down there. Lives up here Mon - Fri type thing.

Did that myself for a brief period, wasn't fun really paying out to live somewhere that wasn't that great a place, was very happy to stop that!

There is work here, I get calls weekly about positions from people here, tried removing the old cv they keep saying they have from all the job sites I'd have used but must be still held somewhere!

If he's networking or oracle tell him to go speak to an airline based down here ;)

...only problem being that you have to work offshore. :p

Glad I'm not the only one......

KaHn

You're not; he's lost it.

Hehehe. What can I say? I'm not a "man's man". Why should I want to conform either to societal norms or some idealised male stereotype? In the other thread someone said I shouldn't use the word "kitteh" as a middle-aged bloke. Well why the heck not? I like that word.

I could have summed all that up with one word tho: whatever.
