There is a leather one that mimic the apple case which is quite nice.
If you want something unique then the dodo case is cool but long wait.
If you want cheap then get any eBay £5 jobbie from silicon to hard plastic.
If you got the cash then vaja hand made leather for £200 and wait 2months!
Or the apple case for £30, functional, thin, but look cheap and dirt wticks to it.
Or use it naked and put it in a sleeve.
I got/ordered most of the above apart from the vaja, and is currently using the apple case until hhe dodo arrive. I have a nice felt sleve from ebay too.

I agree, use mine every day. I'm at the point where I would pick up the iPad rather than the MacBook for a lot of tasks as it's just so convenient. I was concerned before buying, that it would turn into one of those gadgets you are desperate to get but quickly realize you don't need. I now think it is the future, certainly in a lot of areas where previously the laptop was the defacto device.
I'll second this I have a HP laptop too which is now just gathering dust!
Picked up a cheap leather book case from the online auction site for now, using the Belkin screen protector from the purple shirt store which went on very easily tbh.
do apple have stock of the 64gb wifi/3g ???? want to order one but i dont like waiting for a month
edit: well tried to order one just now on both the imac and mbp and it keeps coming up with
you reckon its a sign from him above for me not to get one ???

There is report that Apple is bring out some stuff at the moment. In Mac rumours forum people are reporting that Apple Store have pulled all the cases from their store and staff have been told to pack up and return all Apple cases, leaving only the dock and charger on display. And now the Apple Store online is down, and being updated.
Watch this space i guess !

dont get the dock, not if you want a case. Since i put a case on it i have not used the dock. In fact, i don;t even know where it is !
Save your money and get a stand instead, and use the cable.

Today i fell down the stairs. Whilst holding my iPad.
So i woke up this morning, half asleep and thought i'll go turn on the espresso machine and surf the net and wait for it to warm up. Grabbed my iPad and making my way down the stairs when I put 1 foot only half on a step and I felt it went away from me (carpet) I was falling when i thought i had to grab the rail...realising that the ONLY rail is on my left side and my iPad was in my left hand.
So I landed on my bum, STILL holding on to the iPad and then bummed my way down the entire flight of stairs, with iPad in hand.
So my iPad is safe but my bum is so sore !
