*** The all new Apple iPad thread - Keep all iPad stuff in here ***

Yes - we have an RDP app installed. It works - but the controls on the Windows applications are not designed for touch control so it can be awkward as they're too close together.

My dad just bought one and i am dyeing to go home and have a play with it. Looked at them briefly in store but there was a huge Que. to use it so only got a minute or two. Dunno what the user created content is link at the moment but i can imagine the app store will be awesome very soon if it isn't already!

I got logmein, its pretty nifty but expensive compare to other apps.

Works really well though and minimal config needed. Just login name and password.

mines in the post and should get it the same day as the iphone 4 so i'll have two new toys to play with :D

:p No, although apple do have the best packaging in the business. Is it possible to just sync native iPad apps apart for manually deselecting all my iPhone ones?

This is what ive been wondering about, but have decided that as they will be used for completely different things, just going with syncing it on a different user account.

As for using it with remote connections, the best one I have found with my iPod Touch (and one i suspect I will carry on using with the iPad) is Team Viewer. Its completely free and works very very well, dont know what i'd do without it!

True dat. I'm amazed how big mobile phone boxes are compared to the iphone one, and laptop boxes for that matter. Surely bigger box = more material = more cost?

I hate Apple (the company, not the products), but credit where it's due.

Anyone know where the best deal is on the 3G 64GB model? I'd look through this thread, but its approaching 3,000 posts  I am checking around myself, but sometimes it's who you know rather than what you know.

The prices are fixed, not been HE discount.

So the best deal is £699.
