My experience of iOS4 says that Multitasking isn't that much of a killer feature. It's nice but only really useful for apps that can use the limited "multitasking" features. It's not like task switching in iOS3 is that much of a bind.

Unified inbox (buggy as he'll atm) and folders are all I really miss on my iPad.

Can iOS4 really make that much difference to your iPad experience? I'm glad I snagged one now rather than later. Whilst not magical or even that revolutionary it is a damn fine piece of kit - just a little on the expensive side but that's par the course for Apple.

thats iPad 2, with front facing camera and easy wifi tethering oh and a better screen ;)

Wouldn't it be interesting if it was a 3D higher resolution screen :D

I think the 3D screen tech is too power hungry for a mobile device at the moment. :(

Is there anywhere you can get ipad on some kind of finance?

Im asking this because i have NEVER used finance and im going to find it difficult to get credit in the future. So does apple or pc world offer a good short term finance? I have the money to pay outright easily but i need to start making some decent credit history so may aswel do it for something i want. I dont want to be tied to some silly 36 month thing the shorter the better

Cheers

It's not worth going doing this route for something that will be old hat by the time you've paid it off!

Simply set aside money each week/month and when you have the money - hey presto a new model is likely to rumoured. You may decide it's not worth it by that point..

i have the money. I said im looking for the SHORTEST finance plan. The whole point of this is to build some credit history as i have nada at the moment. May aswell start with something i like

It literally is just for the credit history. I would even take credit and then pay it off all in one go if there wasnt a fee to do it

I've been using mac since i was 7 years of age, and i've worked with them all that time, even as a developer.

Even im struggling the point of why the public are going crazy for this device.

Is it just the tail end of the "netbook " craze?

I've never had a netbook but intrested in being more portable as sit behind a 8 core/16thread beast all the time.

Credit card? Just pay it all off every month(or the minimum amount, dont advise it tbh), that builds up your credit rating.

Cant get a good credit card due to lack of history. Laughable really. I want to build history but the only cards that will take me will be like 38% APR.

Or yes i would have done that and paid it off as quick as possible but i cant im afriad

Is anybody till enjoying the pick up and use ability of this thing...I sometimes am sitting in front of the tv tapping about the internet, then catch on just how usable this thing is.
