*** The all new Apple iPad thread - Keep all iPad stuff in here ***

Not sure even how many ids they can use, I wouldn't want to try it out because it's really just the MT like my iPod touch has and folders. So would prefer not to mess around and keep on 3.2.1 :D

Ok, I got the Powersuppot anti glare protector on, 100% perfect, no bubbles, no dust.

It's good to touch. It doesn't leave finger prints anymore!!!!! Big plus. Really happy with it but the screen is not the same without that glare, some how the photos is less pop to them. It's like the difference between a glossy photo and a Matted photo.

I will leave it on because it protects the screen, (even hides one of my scratches), but if I get another I'll get the crystal protector. (which was out of stock).

I'm jealous, I put an invisible shield on the other night... loads of bubbles most which have gone now but should settle down over the next couple of days.

Also there are some what look like straight line scratches on the shield (I hope!) which are annoying, but hopefully they'll go too.

The back went on pretty well and I love the feel / look of it.

I am quite proud, surprised AND shocked I did it perfectly. Coz the when i put it on I missed aligned it, had to peel it off and purr it down again, had some dust so dug our some scotch tape and lifted the dusts off and put it down.

Well the Powersuppot anti glare for iPad is $25usd (and probably postage?) Don't know if i would want to pay that much and have the problem of messing it up meaning I've just wasted the money.

I'm a pro when it comes to shield applications but I haven't the balls or patience to try it on my new ipad atm lol

I have to admit, it is a BIG risk.

$25 + $28.50 shipping!!!, the whole thing came to like £35 for a screen protector !!!!

Well, after I scratched it the second time i have had enough...so I said "frick it, I am getting a protector"

Got lucky with the application of it and it is never coming off !

Ouch.. Yer, if you screw it up your screwed lol! But if you succeed then it should be worth it. How well does the antiglare work then? Much easier to read screen in bright light?

Anti glare does work, but the screen looses that sharpness compare to with it being bare. I'd like to have the Crystal one, but like i said, it was out of stock.

The big plus is that it is now finger prints proof. The touch of the screen also a lot different now, got to get used to it.

So with a new iPad expected in early 2011, what do we all expect the new one to have spec wise?

Iphone 4 amount of RAM - 512
Facetime (as it is now even on the Touch)
Giro

It will not however have Retina Display, as if you do the math, in that screen size, you will end up with like a 2000x1500 ish res !!!

Don't expect much else tbh

I was going to say camera, but obviously facetime = camera :D

i know its not going to happen yet but I would love to see a new iPad with the same design as the iPhone 4.

Glass both sides with a stainless steel rim. Flat, no curved back.
Camera.
Faster processor.
512Mb/1Gb Ram.
Retina display.
128Gb Storage.

Now that would be very Star Trek like :)

I don't think i would want a iPad looking like the iPhone 4 not to sure why though...

Anyway then Spit how many £1000s of pound you got to spend on that ;)?
