I think we should set up a support group for Impulse Buyer Syndrome lol. I wouldn't use the iPad other than the occasional use of sketching or the musical applications. Obviously web browsing when downstairs.. But still £289.. Can I justify it?
 
Hey guys.

I got a 32GB iPad 2 recently, and am looking to get a wireless keyboard for it. The problem is it seems to me that it has a half UK, half US layout. We get bigger enter key, but @ symbol is above the Number 2 on the keyboard. Is this correct, or is it above the right shift key? It seems a bit odd really, if that's right...

Is it really still selling? I still haven't really seen many on the train, just like the 1st gen.

At work 4/6 of the IT guys have one.. (myself included, but mine been a 1st gen)
.... and *4 64gb 3g ones arrived today for a few higher ups, /want one :p

Just use a VGA adaptor for the first time on my 23" monitor, quite cool. Used a cydia app so it just mirrors everything (I think iPad 2 does this by default)

Try and order one Apple store still have a 3-5 day waiting list last time I looked. Whats more shocking is seen iPad1's going for £330 on Egay!

I mean what the hell are these people stupid? iPad 2's go for £370 brand new from the yanks! The world has gone mad I tell you!
 
I'm just about to order an iPad 2 (I think) but want to confirm a few things.

Should I get the Apple smart cover for it as well? £35 seems quite expensive to say it doesn't even cover the back/sides of the ipad!!

I will be using it for sitting on my arse watching tv and browsing the web at the same time, as well as gaming - I play LOADS of games on my iPhone 3gs so thought it would be better with a bigger screen?

Are these good enough reasons?


edit:..well.....not sure what came over me but I just ordered a 32GB WI-FI iPad 2 with a green smart cover..

It best be good :D

Smart cover is awesome IMO, if a little pricey especially for the leather one at £60 as I have!

Great for propping it up to watch tv, or to angle it for typing. You can even hold the iPad just by gripping the cover the magnets are so strong.

But yeah, for gaming, web browsing and email etc it will easily replace your laptop or 3GS.

32gb wifi owner, White with cream cover.
