O2: Great news. You could get the iPhone 4 on O2 as soon as it's available.
Why £500 region? There is nothing to suggest that it will be more than the 3GS was at the 3GS launch.I'm guessing in the £500 region for PAYG phone tbh, possibly more for the 32gb.
Why £500 region?
If you buy a sim free iphone, dont you only get 1yrs warranty? but if you take a 2yr contract out, you get 2 yrs cover?

All indicators re. US pricing seem to point to this, too.
Its hasnt really changed? You just bought at the time where your model was going to be replaced - only reason why it was cheap compared to launchday prices you are now seeing. A fairer comparison is to look at what the 3GS pricing will move down to as they try and get rid of them - nothing to do with not being an O2 exclusive anymore...I'm just staggered how much the iphone costs now it is no longer O2 exclusive. My 3G 16 cost me £50 on a £35 pm contract before the 3GS came out. Admittedly that was just before the 3GS came out, but since I will never use the video camera app I didn't care.
Do like the look of the 4 I must admit, but not sure I can justify the cost.
Was the £15/12 month simplicity deal available last year?
I'd be willing to bet the payg price + 18 months of simplicity 15 >= The standard £35 18 month contract.
