*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

I'm putting my 16GB 3G on eBay.

Also... at the people who can't get out of a 3GS contract :p

Yeah I get that and kind of thought option 3 contradicted that clause, but I won't be combining my early upgrade eligibility with the early upgrade offer.

On the 02 upgrade page:-

This reduced cost offer cannot be combined with any early upgrade eligibility you may have as part of O2 Priority List.

Yup, the fact he is a gold customer means he doesnt have to use the early upgrade eligibility. I'd assume he just gets to upgrade normally with no extra cost (Other than the phone and contract itself).

Who is that with ? As all the networks I've seen it is £15 to have free internet and text ?

Only other is with Three where with £10 you do get internet but they aren't doing iphone and dunno if they can be unlocked :(

o2 data and txt prepay. On an unlocked 2g iPhone I got for when they did the huge price cuts before the 3 g came out.

Argh I have no idea what to do!! I want the new iphone but already have o2 friends and family - surely the 30% off makes up for o2's poor 3g coverage! Then again something like the iphone deserves a great data connection for use!

Ive just read that T-Mobile are gonna start supplying the iPhone now too? So its only Virgin Mobile who dont now...

Can anyone recommend an iPhone specific SIM-only price plan? Like O2 Simplicity for iPhone but not O2 please? Looking to move off O2 but dont want to go into a contract (stuck with them for 6 more months so going to SIM-only plans and buy the phone outright - far more flexibility and seems comparable cost over time).

Will the new iPhone 4 actually be network locked? Will need it to be usable on O2 for the first siz months before I change provider...

+1

O2 iPhone Simplicity £20 (or £15 if you sign up for 12 months) sounds great, apart from the fact it's O2.

Yeah they have UK call centres, but 3G speeds and coverage :(.

If someone else were to pricematch it....

Also, anyone seen yet whether O2 are still the only ones to support visual voicemail?

I'd take a close look at Three tbh.

Think their PAYG is really good as their 'freebies' last for 90 days and includes 'free' 150Mb internet to get you started. Otherwise it's a £5 a month.

All other PAYG start from at least £15 a month.

Did not realise this was coming to the three network. I called them last month to advise I would be leaving as I wanted the new iPhone when it comes out and they said they couldn't provide this phone - they obviously changed their minds!

Haven't officially cancelled my contract yet, its just in a rolling state so might just hang on before I leave them...

If they are then thats interesting as my upgrade is due in july of this yr so might see if i can haggle an iphone out of them then sell it for a profit:D

I'll be upgrading my trusty 3G to the iPhone 4 on launch day - I'm currently on O2 simplicity which is perfect, but I'm not sure if I'll have the extra cash to lay out for the phone on it's own. Can anybody estimate how much the new one will cost for handset only?

£450 to £500 for the 16GB model
