Yea looks like my apple status about being delayed was true, seeing as it's been in Hong Kong for 2 days now

You're not the only ones, all I know was mine was shipped on the 7th, called Apple yesterday, all I know is it reached Luxembourg on the 9th where it was handed over to the 3rd party (TNT I'm guessing) and no update as of yet and no TNT tracking number.

I did order it with a bumper which they said might be holding it up, although the bumper was shipped on the 7th as well, just by a different company.

Apple lady was very nice but came across a tad clueless.

Not sure if just says:

Carrier Tracking Number
In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly.
Assigned Carrier
In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly.

Managed to track it via some details I found on the US version of Apple website. Kuhne & Nugel got it to Luxemborg where says handed over to third party.

Shipped on: Jul 7, 2010 via Kuhne & Nagel Spedition s.a r.
Tracking #: XXX
Product
IPHONE 4 BLACK 32GB-GBR

Shipped on: Jul 7, 2010 via Syncreon Technology
Tracking #: XXX
Product
IPHONE 4 BUMPERS BLACK-ZML

The Syncreon Technology tracking number isn't working however, I can only guess they're awaiting for both parts of the order at (maybe) Luxembourg where they're pack as one single order and assign a tracking number, all speculation though.

Don't know if this is the correct thread (whether it's a hardware or software issue), but does anyone know why:

If I switch my iPhone4 onto "Vibrate", why YouTube videos still play out of the speakers?

Nothing else does, notifications, games, etc, etc, it's only YouTube videos.

Because that is something you are viewing as multimedia. The silent switch isn't going to affect that any more than it will if the ipod was playing.
The silent is for notifications, alerts (excluding alarms)

Still don't understand the logic behind it though.

If I play games (with the silent on), then no sound appears. In fact the only sound (that I know of) that occurs when it's set to silent is YouTube and the Alarm.

Even when I'm on the Tube, I unplug my headphones and still don't get any sound coming out of the phone, but if I unplug my headphones while watching a YouTube video, then the sound blars out of the speaker.

Lab tests: Why Consumer Reports can't recommend the iPhone 4

http://blogs.consumerreports.org/el...m-issues-signal-strength-att-network-gsm.html

If you want an iPhone that works well without a masking-tape fix, we continue to recommend an older model, the 3G S. (The full list of recommended smart phones models appears as part of our latest Ratings, available to subscribers.

Think i will stick with my perfect iPhone 3gs :)
