When I first ordered the 4S was exempt from cashback so am glad they've changed their minds about this.

I've cancelled my order and have now gone through Quidco and reordered. Don't mind waiting a bit longer if it means getting a bit of a discount!

You need to turn off notifications for stuff you don't use.

No there seems to be a bug with the battery life currently, a friend of mine had success fixing it with a restore apparently. But we left our phones side by side and he was losing 5% for ever 1% of mine.

Theres loads of complaints around the internet take a look. I expect apple will have to address it.

There probably are Apple software improvements to increase battery performance but you can changes settings to improve it yourself.

I've gone form losing 50% a day (24 hours) to about 30% by following some of tweaks available online from Google.

What were these tweaks?

I run my brightness on about 50%, mobile data and wireless on. Notifications for phone, messages and calendar only. Location services on, all icloud services on

Put mine in airplane mode last night and it only dropped 1% from 11pm until around 8am the next morning. Has so far only dropped 18% since 8am this morning.
