Seriously?!? Apple spend £bn's on server farms.
Sure Apple downloads don't max my connection but with x million people downloading at once want else would you expect.

Took 3 minutes for me to get the full file from Apple via iTunes.
Don't see a problem with that considering every man and his dog will be downloading it right now.

Looks like this is going to be an ongoing trend until a method of downgrade is devised, it really is a pain. Looks like Apple are now beginning to get the upper hand.
MuscleNerd doesn't rule out downgrading as being impossible so hopefully somebody will or already is developing a way around this.
It was a similar situation when SHSH blobs were first used, there was doubt as to whether one could downgrade again, it was only until a method was devised to replay the blobs that it became reality (providing the blobs were saved!) it did happen in the end though. I guess this will take longer as there are greater technicalities to the way the system works now.

I want the 16GB White 4S, do I just order it and wait the 2+ weeks for delivery or do I keep checking the reservation site for my 2 local Apple shops? One shop did have 32GB white/black models last night but I want the 16GB, obviously they didn't appear long and vanished so do I keep trying that or go for the direct order?

Personally I would just order it direct, at least you will know when you will get it.

Fellas my uncle has got an iphone 4s and has set his signature up for the bottom of his emails, the text is all fine but how can he add his company logo?
When he sends from outlook on pc its all fine, from the iphone all the text but no image.
Does anyone have any ideas?

58% 2hours 37 used, 12hours standby. Normally I would probably have a lot more usage..

59% 2 hours 40 mins used, 13 hours 15 mins standby.
Still dont see how you would get anywhere near the quoted call time/standby/music etc figures though
but still a step in the right direction.But its still a great phone
