This isn't strictly true.

Debit card: Take money upon ordering*
Credit card: Take money upon dispatch

*You can't even order unless you have the full amount, cleared in your account.

How does that work with a Credit Card? I guess they would just take the payment straight away?

Did everyone else get this for there their delivery date? I only ordered mine about half an hour ago!

My mates just ordered his but needs some advice.

Hes on a TMobile plan with BB booster so obviously needs a microSIM - a few stories on here have said they will force you onto a iPhone plan if you request a microSIM - is that correct?

I think hes happy with his current plan (dont know the ins and outs of it or the data allowance he is on - guess he can improve that using WnW boosters) so doubt the iPhone plan will suit him better as no doubt it will be more money for less.

Ive recommended him to cut his existing SIM, but before he does this is there no way TMobile will convert it for him without changing his plan?

He'll have to ask T-Mobile, the networks tend to treat everyone differently.

I requested a micro-sim from 02 this morning as im on their simplicty sim only deal (12month). No questions asked! 10min later got emails saying its been dispatched

Yeah just told him to talk to TMobile and ask how to get a microSIM and not refer to his talk plan - if they get shirty I guess he can still cut his existing one...

I didnt have any problems when I got an Android (3Gb data) SIMO plan and asked for a microSIM but unsure if things had changed. Need to change SIMO contracts soon so hope its not too difficult to do the same, just want faster speed this time...

dammit, i think im going to kick myself for cancelling one of my orders instead of keeping it

I can see them being sold on ebay for £650 in a few days (for 16gg)

LOL actually quite pleased with my decision - Id rather see what JB opens up first before even considering upgrading (fingers crossed Siri turns up - I just wanna see it working) - it has to be said if the iP4S looked different I would have got it (the reason I moved from iP3GS to iP4 mid-contract and eventually started SIMO) - very vain, but think a lot of us have thought like that.

My mates just called TMobile and had a great response - been told to pop into the TMobile store to pick up the microSIM when he wants (£10 charge) and they will remove the BB Booster and replace it with a better data booster for the same price once hes got his iP4S.

Anyone got any ideas how to move contacts from a BB to iOS? Afraid Im gonna be his tech support

Yeah I think mine was:

Ships: 14th
Delivery: 21st-28th

I have not had a Confirmation Email either yet but it sounds like from posts on here that it can take a few hours to come through!

It's really a case of whaterver floats your boat. If I had a 4 I wouldn't. But if you've got then money and like having the latest toy, why not. These little toys are quite expensive, but compared to what I know some people spend on their cars, hair cuts(women mainly) clothes and watches, it's small fry.

Indeed. There are only 4 possible good reasons to get the 4S, as the iPhone 4 will be getting iOS 5 in all it's glory and we all know it works superbly -

1. You want more storage, so 64GB looks good

2. You take a lot of pictures/video and don't find the iPhone 4 camera good enough

3. You think you'll use Siri voice assistant as something more than a show-off feature

4. You've got money to burn, you might as well get it anyway

I got in 2 orders (will cancel the second later) had email confirmations for both, first order says despatched by 14th Oct and the second one says despatch in 1-2 weeks for delivery by 21st-28th Oct.

Hoping the first order arrives on 14th as i have the day off that day so would be good to be able to play
