i got my elfen lied a while back (shipped 28/04/2005, received 04/05/2005).

I haven't seen the second DVD yet, but apparently the episodes that should be on it are pretty good (I think one of the more memerable moments from the series should be on that disc).

Rumours are circulating that the Shadow Skill TV series, which was released way back in 1998, has just been acquired by ADV Films, after a trailer for the series appeared on their site. Nothing official yet though.

Fieldy, I don't think the Nadesico complete collection includes the moive, i think it's just the 6 discs for the series :)

Pixel, I noticed that on the AOD site, it wouldn't suprise me if ADV have got (in fact given the trailer i'd be suprised if they haven't), as it's the sort of thing that would probably be good on their anime channel, as well as selling reasonable well if marketed properly.

Indeed, it's still an enjoyable series, even though it's really starting to show it's age now, and there's still various loyal online communities for this anime too, it's going to be interesting to see how things develop. :)

Although, I'm not sure if ADV will be allow to show it on their anime channel. I don't know much about the various types of licensing, but I know that a channel called AXN (American) has shown the Shadow Skill series (subbed) in the past, and I'm not sure if ADV will need the TV rights as well as the DVD rights. Hopefully someone can clue me in on this.

I think ADV normally try and get the TV rights to most of their releases, as from what I can tell it doesn't usually cost that much more but gives them a lot of extra marketting options.

does anyone know where abouts i can fin a copy of Samurai champloo Volume 1 with collectors box??
