I had not seen it,it looks fun though :p (I bought Working pretty much blind).

Alex, it sounds like they've taken a lot of care with the book (it reminds of what I've heard about Range Murata's Robot GN/Artbooks where he basically insisted on everything being perfect).

Almost finished spice and wolf 2 eng dub. :)

Not sure if the voices have changed, i dont think they have, but i do enjoy the show. Totally in love with holo's voice tho. :)

Might be just me tho but the episodes go by very fast and they seem to not really push the story as much as i had hoped as in there has been 2 main story arcs in this season and not many stand alone episodes.

I enjoy it but i do wish it had something more to it tho.

I never read manga or any book i just enjoy the anime parts. But yeah i knew it probably be a lot more in the books.

Just finished watching season 2 and i didn't care much for the ending and the story has barely progressed and only showed 2 small arcs which were well not really that interesting, watchable but not that interesting. Would have preferred to see more of the journey than the stuff in 2 towns.

The second series is slower and focuses on more important events, different focus than the first series. I really liked both, but they feel different, I found the first arc of season 2 really tense at times :)

Watched eps 1 - 11 so far of supernatural, BRILLIANT!. How i ever missed the series i'll never know but best anime series of 2011 imo. Wont appeal to many of you but does me :)

Looks like Amazon US have FMA:Brotherhood on special again with 55-57% all five BD and DVD volumes.

Means that you can get all five BDs for <£90 including shipping (but not including the possible customs charges).

I finally got my copy of high school of the dead through today and although I am impressed with it even though some of the scenes have been toned down from the originals in the manga I'm not to impressed on how manga entertainment have handled the bluray release since this is what happens when I run the first disc
1. Copyright warning plays
2. Copyright warning starts fading
3. Playback ceases at 7 seconds and doesn't resume until I force it to by either accessing the root menu or pressing the next button on the remote.
So it looks like apart from anything I've got on pre-order or anything I've planned on putting on pre-order I won't be buying any more bluray releases from manga entertainment (so I'll need suggestions for a multi region BR player).

But at least for one plus they did get a good match for the voice of the ditzy school nurse.

Hmmm ... will be interesting to see if Werewolf has an issue with his copy ... possibly a firmware update needed for compatibility? (no really I agree it's probably a Manga Entertainment screw up ;))

Both my multiregion BD players are Panasonics, (auto DVD switching, manual BD switching) .... seem pretty reasonable and haven't given me any problems, apart from having to replace a remote but that was my fault. Purchased them online from a store in Peterborough, which I previous bought multi-region DVD players from, ... but which I can't link to from here ...

I'll have to throw it in the player later, so far my Sony hasn't had any issues with playback on any blu-ray (although I didn't like the remote - I'm using a Harmony 555).

As anybody else read Usagi Drop? (or Usagi Doroppu), been reading it today and its quiet good :)

I've read the first three volumes of the English language release (aka Bunny Drop). I like it, it has a nice gentle vibe and I like the humour. Yen Press have volume 4 scheduled for December which I already have pre-ordered. The anime series, currently airing, is good too ...

@ANDARIAL
Vol 28 ...

The HOTD thing looks like it may be player specific.

On my one it plays the warning, then holds for a few seconds before going on to a Madman, then Manga logo, before finally getting to the main menu.

The pause I'm seeing isn't unusual in my experience with blu-rays, as iirc it can be the player loading up content etc (a couple of my early film buys had pauses that lasted long enough that at first I thought the disc was faulty). or doing something in the background (I think it's universal discs that tend to take an age to load if the player is connected to the net, as it checks for new trailers or something).

My Houkago Tea Time album turned up, but with a crack on the cd case. :( It is a double CD case too so I will have to have a look round to see if I have one to replace it with.
