u mean some kind of "lodge" i think we did talk about it ages ago iirc! (or maybe that was a different forum  )

yeah that would be cool! we could stay for a weekend the only problem is the last time i went to one of these, it was a remote loaction so we need to chip in and bring our own food!

i could make everyone a really great dinner: either eggs/toast or beans on toast :p!

What could be cool is getting a place with a kitchen and doing a mass feed/drink one evening. :D *and possibly a huge fry-up the next morning - triple fried egg butties with chilli sauce and chutney for everyone*

I'd be up for some of the cooking depending on what it is. :D

Yep I think a big self catering place would be a good idea then would could do a bring your own booze thing rather than resort to pubs and restaraunts everynight :)

Does this mean we are going to repeat the exercise in 2006?

Fairly confident I'd be up for it this time next year, no exams in the third year so no chance of a clash ;)

Aye.. definately up for something like that. Mass catering would make it a tad cheaper too.. worst case scenario you just chuck a load of random stuff in a wok and call it a stir fry.

Hell - you could even go to the point of buying dirt cheap pots and pans at poundland or something like that and then bin them at the end of the meet. :D

Lets try to avoid the study leave window next time, should be even quieter :)

Furthermore turn up on Wednesday night, spend Thursday at Splash Landings, then get into the park on Friday with priority passes, inclusive ticket and early start ;)

Would definitely be up for a part 2 AT meet :D

Hopefully it can be done in school holidays?

PLEASE (lynnie Begs) ;) I can't get the time off school don't think my new boss would be too pleased with his new business teacher running off to Alton Towers ;)

Has certain disadvantages though, like being full of blooming ankle biters :(

cant u call in sick one/two days :p i am sure the ywont mind! (thats what cover teachers are there for :p)

You realise that next time we're in a pub and I nonchalantly flip a beer mat into my mouth on the first go, you will all bow down?!

I'm currently trying to upload to Garp's webspace but it's having none of it...

Yeah I work with the little beggers ;)

As for calling in sick I'm afraid not maybe its because I'm only new to the profession but my students will be completing deadlines and starting exams so I wouldn't be happy leaving them

Aaaah..supply teachers. :D

Managed to get one of them to have a nervous breakdown in 4 weeks and then another to quit after another 2. :D

Supply teachers really do get the worst little buggers like my class was can throw at them. ;) :D

I will bow down every time I see you after you do that with me as a witness.
