I did change some of the options like update to disabled but it still changed last night will keep an eye on it

When you turn off updates in windows its not permanent /windows update blocker is

Probably overkill but personally if I had switched from Nvidia to AMD (or vice versa) I'd be looking at a fresh Windows install. Just nips any potential niggles in the bud. But that is just me.

Incidentally has anyone noticed lower 1% lows on 25.3.1 on their RDNA 3 cards?

Also noticed lower Timespy scores on the newer driver versus 25.2.1. @AMD_Vik

I think a bit of regression on my card than benefit.

Yes lower fps in general and higher power draw reverted back to the previous driver

I’ve done the same and gone back to 25.2.1. Everything now as it should be.

Just disable Windows Update installing drivers via Regedit. That's permanent

If you try wub posted above, it's install>run>click disable button=MS can't push any updates-but if you use Xbox live, you need to click enable-Close and Xbox live will resume as normal and windows shouldn't push updates as you're on the latest driver.

What I'd do:

Download newest driver

Download and Install AMD cleanup utility:

Run Wub>disable MS updates

Run AMD cleanup utility-it boots into safe mode, removes gpu divers(AMD clean install) and reboots

Run driver>reboot

Run Wub>enable MS updates.:thumbsup
