Incidentally has anyone noticed lower 1% lows on 25.3.1 on their RDNA 3 cards?
Also noticed lower Timespy scores on the newer driver versus 25.2.1. @AMD_Vik
I think a bit of regression on my card than benefit.
I’ve done the same and gone back to 25.2.1. Everything now as it should be.Yes lower fps in general and higher power draw reverted back to the previous driver

Not sure on that tbh as I don't tend to use it. I've had driver updates disabled for years though via Regedit and I've not had any issues with Gamepass on the old time I've used it
Funny you say that, generally seeing testimony to the opposite, in that the newer branch is in more performant on RNDA 2 and 3Incidentally has anyone noticed lower 1% lows on 25.3.1 on their RDNA 3 cards?

Maybe the Timespy scores being lower doesn’t translate to lower actual performance in games but having reverted back to 25.2.1 I am seeing a 200-300 point uplift in the standard Timespy benchmark.Funny you say that, generally seeing testimony to the opposite, in that the newer branch is in more performant on RNDA 2 and 3
With WUB you can turn it on or turn it offI think its solved for now well I hope if not WUB will be my next step
That is so annoying. And does it matter if it is hdmi or dp? Is the setting in Windows 11 to dynamically alter the refresh rate to save power, is that disabled? I think it is off by default tbh. Any firmware update for the monitor? Monitor inf installed? Also not sure if it would be linked but best ask, mobo bios up to date?Soo, just reinstalled a freshly downloaded windows 11 image onto a cleaned drive. Installed drivers for chipset, solidigm SSDs and the GPU. Installed Vesktop(discord) and brave browser and immediately got black flicker(monitor goes off and then on several times). I noticed similar behaviour in Linux Bazzite. Whenever I fullscreen an app with variable refresh active, the screen would flicker black once as in turn off and on like a resolution switch would do... soooo great.
I've been through it all except testing the monitor over HDMI as HDMI don't play nice on Linux thanks to the HDMI consortium and my cable is to short. Everything else mentioned has been done at least once, included but not limited to, factory reset the monitor. Also found out that FSR 3 Frame generation doesn't seem to work with freesync at all in Cyberpunk causing tearing even when limiting the generated output to less than the monitors refresh rate. That is so annoying.
