Any idea when your going to release a decent AMD linux driver?

my friends are having issues, specially with Xfire. their seeing terrible performance On steam games

shows you how bad it CAN be 750 TI almost beats a R9 290.

I know Linux is Not Top priority but it will be soon with Steam OS, & Nvidia a propriety company unfortunately running rings around you on a Open source platform which AMD said it supports!..

Come on Get your performance UP & next Round i put AMD in consideration. Till then i cannot buy AMD. I want to move to Linux End of this year early next full time.

So idle you at 300/150 ?? I do wounder if it is the monitor then? Anyone with BenQ getting high memory speed at 144hz?

I have a BenQ XL2411T @ 144hz and my memory clock is always 1250mhz. Only seems to idle to 150mhz if i drop the refresh rate to 60hz.

Also my core clock with 144/120hz refresh rate idles at 500mhz, at 60hz refresh rate it idles at 300mhz.

That is very strange, I wounder why mine is idle at 150? @144 same has my other BenQ XL2420T..

I don't understand how mine could be any different to others not that am complaining :p

Sadly going to give up with Mantle, no matter what i do it just never wants to work properly. It was as smooth as butter when it actually worked.

Thief Mantle and BF4 Mantle both suffer from random freezes. It's worse in BF4 though, can't even get to the settings to set it to DX11.

You guys got any idea why voltage control would not be available through afterburner on 290x.

Well, it's available on one card, but other two remain greyed out.

Was working before, as used +50mv and upped the clocks to 1100. Was only recently started getting black screens in advanced warfare and noticed artifacts in mass effect that went investigating.

Reinstalled afterburner, no diff. Reinstalled 15.3, no diff. Used ddu and went back to mega, no diff.

Voltage control just doesn't want to work anymore.

Good luck getting a reply, Have asked a few Q's about *nix to only get ignored as you seem to have been

The exodus to NV is only going to get bigger due to the lack of info/support on the subject (I'll be one soon too  )
