Oh for gods sake AMD!!!
Latest drivers, fire up Elite, just black screen, "no input".
CCC won't even start.

As far as I know that's nothing to do with AMD. Windows 10 is still at a testing stage and they want every one to be using the same drivers so it's easier to iron out the faults. That being said you can change the settings to stop the driver updates. Is it ticking the "stop other Microsoft product updates box"?
Poor state of affairs when the windows 8.1 drivers work better on 10 than the 10 ones do.
I always use Display Driver Uninstaller so the old ones are properly cleaned out. That has an option to prevent Windows from trying to reinstall a driver when you reboot. When updating drivers does anyone else unplug the Ethernet cable to prevent windows from installing drivers on its own? or is it just me being paranoid?

Thought it was a bit insane, I probably should give DDU a go rather at some point than rely on AMD's uninstaller.
I got latest drivers and it works fine for me. Though I do have crossfire disabled for Elite
I reinstalled, but also wiped my settings files for elite, which seemed to work...
But I think my problem is something else.
I may have had a ciustom resolution selected in elite for 21:9.
Just now tried selecting 2560x1440 on desktop, and had the same problem. No signal. Same when selecting custom res.
So these cards not/drivers simply not outputting certain resolutions.
Feel for you mate. Hope you get it sorted out.
Look at the bright side, now that I have a 295x2, I can join you and we can complain together at AMD to get Elite working optimally in crossfire
Tweaking the settings I managed to get Elite very playable at 4k with a single card though. But not sure if what I consider playable is the same as you. Give me a shout if you want to give my settings a try.
Oh, and that annoying displayport link failure thing...
About the displayport link failure, can you see if disabling monitor sleep stops it from happening? Because I never had this once but I think it's because I don't allow monitor or pc to sleep.
If I left my monitor turned on (along with disabling sleep in Windows) and just let it sleep when the PC was off then I wouldn't get it. Not ideal I know but a solution...
