The AMD Driver Thread

It´s very likely official 15.20 drivers will be made from 15.200.x.x branch. Just like 15.15 were made from 15.150.x.x branch. Keep in mind that 15.15 drivers don´t include lowered overhead, that 15.200 offers. So we should be getting nice boost over 15.15 drivers aswell :)

I don't think we have an AMD Rep on here any longer by the looks of it, he's been active on Guru3D but not here. We tend to be a bit more vocal of our opinions than on Guru3D. Can't because we were unhappy with the driver support for products we paid GOOD MONEY FOR!! :rolleyes:

And for anyone wanting to know the performance increase with these latest drivers on the 7xxx series, heres the increaseed perf on my 7950..

Same GPU overclocks used.. 1100/1600.

Any optimisations for the 3xx series will apply to the 2xx series as well.

Try updating your drivers, latest are Catalyst 15.5 Beta available from www.amd.com/beta.

If you're overclocking any part of your computer stop and see if that message disappears.

Not really. Maybe in windows 10 beta but not in 8.1 and 7. The best official drivers for 7/8.1 are 15.5 which have 10 to 20% less performance than the 15.15 drivers for the 300 series cards. Hence lots of review sites been called out on testing the 300 series with 15.5 drivers and 15.15 and showing only 1 to 2 fps gain with the new 300 cards.

Hence 300 look better in reviews and current 200 owners not running windows 10 beta lose out.
