The AMD Driver Thread

Thats weird then, running Windows10 Pro Insider, Evaluation Copy, Build 10130 here and it automatically installed 1023, i've managed to get 1040 installed, is my Win 10 build in need of an update?

Edit.. seems like MSI AB isnt overclocking my GPU even though GPU-Z says its OC'd, also 3DMark shows my OC too.. on 'some' benches, wtf lol

there is a new build out last night at midnight 10158 im just installing it now

I just switched to fast after passey said there was an update last night :)

I only installed Win 10 2 days ago, i'm dual booting and havnt had much time to play with 10 yet until tonight.
Left mine installing whist i went chippy. Too hot to cook.

Will pop up and see if its all done. Was more bug fixes in this build than new features.

Im only running 10 atm perfectly fine for a gaming build

got cross fire running now on win 10 (10158) but the gpu driver isn't the best :/

Driver version

15.200.1040.0

V odd

Odd, i assume you cleared out the drivers with DDU? You can install the 8.1 drivers just fine on Win10 btw.

Looks like the 15.200.1040.0 have stayed installed on Win 10 here since installing them earlier. Im dual booting Win 7 and Win 10 on 2 identical Samsung 830's so its pretty easy to go back to 7 when 10 starts to annoy me :p

I just wish the windows would stay where i put them instead of moving slightly when i reopen them. And my Asus Xonar DS soundcard wont install for some reason, Win 10 doesnt see the card even though its all working fine on Win 7  :(

Edit.. Fixed soundcard, installed some UNi-Xonar modded drivers for it :)

DX11 Single-threaded draw calls per second 1 266 172
DX12 draw calls per second 0
Mantle draw calls per second 12 716 707

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/7581179?

Windows 10 -1040 drivers..

DX11 Multi-threaded draw calls per second 1 072 374
DX11 Single-threaded draw calls per second 1 093 180
DX12 draw calls per second 12 465 500
Mantle draw calls per second 11 425 955

Same spec and clocks in sig for both tests.

Is DX12 supposed to run on my 7950 under Windows 10? I didnt think it would :)

All 7000, R9 and R7 cards support DX12.
