The AMD Driver Thread

So it appears Elite Dangerous now works with crossfire since 15.8 under Win10 :) tried it last night on my 7990 and getting 150FPS on max settings, with frame pacing off and optimize 1x1 set in Fullscreen. Is it still working in the latest 15.9.1 as I wont update otherwise?

I tried same settings as you (i am also on 15.8/win 10), but not on optimize 1x1 and it was horrid. Went back to crossfire disabled and thus using a single gpu.

I do not think they have done anything, otherwise pretty sure Matt should be the first to mention it here. I do not expect any changes at least until maybe horizons expansion comes out.

Well all i know is the day before yesterday i had crossfirex disabled as I'd given up on it and was running at 55-65fps (which is fine anyway). Yesterday I read on the frontier forums people having success with those settings so I tried it and it doubled fps with afterburner showing 99% usage on both cards. Not seen any flickering either so far, I will do some more testing tonight though as there is something I might have missed because I was running the single gpu core in borderless instead of fullscreen. It could be that the single core is able to do 120fps on its own in fullscreen (and that's whats happening) but I'm doubting it.

Might need to connect up my DK2 again though if it is working.

Do you guys install fresh drivers over existing or do you always remove ccc from add/remove programmes first?
I'm talking about amd to amd not nvidia to amd...
