The AMD Driver Thread

I just upgraded to the last beta that was released, dunno whats theyve changed but its given me 20mhz higher overclock on the core for no extra voltage. Aint much but ill take it :)

I really hope these new drivers bring a nice performance boost and fix a lot of the issues with CF, maybe a proper Elite profile too ... would be nice.

That would be nice would be nice. I hope you are reading Matt. lol.

I hope the new omega drivers come out just before fallout 4. That would be cool :D

Few months back, I had reported that I had issues with 15.7 drivers with vertical lines flickering and a general mild flicker across the whole screen.

So went back to 15.6 which work fine for all this time, and today decided what a heck lets put the 15.10

Unfortunately the issue remains even with the latest drivers.

There are tiny black vertical lines flickering across the whole screen even on windows desktop, let alone games, which is annoying. So switched back to 15.6

I have reported this issue as bug the two times tried to upgrade the driver to AMD, however seems this hasn't been fixed yet.

Does anyone else is experiencing that issue especially those with 295X2 & XL2730Z combo?
The issue exists on all W7, W8 and W10.

Yeah think this is an ongoing thing. My mate gets it with his Asus strix fury but my sapphire fury doesn't do it. Its hit and miss but definitely a driver issue.

You know where yer screen goes haywire, multi coloured lines all over the shop while browsing, which a CTRL+ALT+DEL fixes, ive just had it on these 15.9.1s, not had it for ages, was still on my 290X when i got it last :p

He-he-he-he-he you kidda you!

I get it quite regular, CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't fix it for me though, I have to squint and open ccc to change screen res to 1440 then it fixes it and I choose no when it says do I want to keep the new res and it goes back to 1080p.

So I finally switched over from DVI to DisplayPort :p

Probably the wrong thread to ask, but can I do anything cool with DP that I couldn't have on DVI?

Cheers,

Su

Not screw it in...

Any word on crossfire profiles for all the huge new games this month?
I presume fallout 4 wont have one because its the same engine as Skyrim and that didn't work with crossfire. Theres Battlefront and COD aswell though so I'm hoping there going to work day 1 with crossfire. It always does put a downer when you buy a game you've been looking forward too for along time and crossfire doesn't work. Especially now with 4k monitors and 21:9 monitors. Its very much needed.
